Fu*k Penn State. After what happened there and the light slap on the wrist the program received as punishment, I will never root for them in a game again.
Even if they played BYU, I’d be gladly cheering for the Zoobs.

I think it’s also worth noting that this was Rising’s first full collegiate game. He played for about 5 minutes against USC before getting injured, and for a quarter against SDSU. I think he’ll get better with some experience.

USC only up 13-7, late in the third.
Has been an underwhelming day for the P12 so far, but UCLA and AZ could change that (although I doubt either will).

The OL wasn’t great today (Brewer would have been murdered a couple times if he hadn’t been wearing the ‘no-touchie’ jersey), but it was mostly backups so…

To be fair, there were at least two of those plays where he would have been utterly destroyed in live play. O-line still feels like it could be a bit of a concern.

Yesterday, LA County had 2,400 cases for 10M people.
Utah had 4,000 cases for 3M people.
I’d say one of those is significantly worse that the other.

I’d also add that when I was a college athlete a lifetime ago, there was a hell of a lot more chance of me getting in trouble when I was at school than when I was at home.
School was all about parties, beer, and general shenanigans, while home was generally about sitting abound being bored.
