Keep in mind that we are smack dab in the middle of one of the craziest political times any of us have seen in our lifetimes. It’s bound to get some significant attention, regardless of what else is going on.

I quite like the political talk, especially during slow times for Utah sports or during important political events (like the election). It’s a good reminder of the oft times stark diversity within our somewhat homogeneous Utah fan population.

People do tend to get awfully riled up about it though, not sure how you temper that.

Here’s a crazy thought. Raising taxes and cutting costs are not mutually exclusive actions. We can meet in the middle and find a moderate way to do both that provides benefit to those who truly need assistance without being overly punitive to those are who are successful.

FYI, I don’t think the UFN FB page is run by Webmonkey. There was a comment by whoever runs it that they’ve “tried getting him (WM, I assume) to sell it, but he won’t”.

Which begs the question, where did that 80% go? Did people simply stop posting entirely? Do they just not care? Are we down to a small Utah online presence spread out between 4 different boards?

Seems weird that people would just…disappear.
