Sucks, but that’s the way of the college football world.

I’m guessing we drop a lot lower than 10. I’d be surprised if we were higher than 13.

Going for it on 4th and 2 at midfield was the turning point. If we had gotten that and extended that drive, it could have been a different game.

Sadly, we didn’t and it wasn’t.

It’d be disappointing, but I wouldn’t blame the NFL-bound guys a bit. Why risk millions of dollars (in Moss, Anae, Jaylon, and Leki’s case) to play in a bowl game that means very little in the grand scheme of things?

I don’t see why Huntley would sit though. He still likely has something to prove to NFL scouts that he can play at the next level.

The same can be said about all but around 15-20 programs in the country.

The reality is that there are a small handful of teams that will continue to get the best players, regardless of anything Utah does. We – and most other teams – need to develop lower star players into studs, something we have traditionally been very good at.

That double off-sides on the first quarter punt was pretty ridiculous as well.

I live in Utah. But the Yewniversity of Yewtah is different and we don’t claim it. If you spent any time around Yewt fans you’d know why. They show up drunk to the games and make fun of religion. And yet he’ll still put us at 11th on his top 25 ballot (his ranking for Utah last week). Behind a 2-loss Michigan and Florida, and 5 spots behind Oregon.

I could be wrong, but I don’t really get the sense that being a head coach is Ludwig’s primary goal.
