As a father of a young daughter and having a wife who just re-entered the professional workforce last week after 10 years away, this whole “women don’t want equality, they only want something in their favor” idea has gotten under my skin more than a little bit.

Given how it happened, I would think it equally as hard – if not moreso – for Wazzu to bounce back. Their loss was way worse than ours was.

Now let’s apply the same analysis to the millions of professional women in the US who get paid less than their their male counterparts for the exact same work, shall we?

That’s…certainly an opinion.

I suppose there’s a chance they buy out one of the cupcake games instead of cancelling BYU. However, my guess is that they’d like to keep those in order to have OOC games against a tough P5, a mid-tier G5, and then a cupcake.

Although I suppose BYU fits in that G5 category at this point

USC is a completely different team home vs road.

I think USC still loses a couple games. They’re a completely different team on the road than they are at home.

Still, frustrating loss. You can only shoot yourself in the foot so many times against a talented team and hope to come out on top. As always, the P12 eats itself.

USC senior defensive end Christian Rector (ankle) did take part in practice. It seems he’ll be good to go for Utah on Friday.
