  • Oregon lost to Texas Southern at home WITH bol bol playing.

You don’t have to be athletic to beat the Ducks. Utah just got unlucky their 3’s weren’t going in. which coencidently, is the same reason Oregon beat Utah at the Huntsman center. 8.7% (2-23) from three by a team that normally shoots almost 40% is insanely unlucky.

    Oregon’s…[Read more]

  • I am not sure if its appropriate to post here so I apologize in advance if not, and delete if needed, but I have 3 all tourney passes to the pac-12 tournament in 2 weeks I am trying to get rid of. Me, some family of mine and a few of my Ute buddies were planning on heading down there but 3 of them had to bail.
They are in section 105, row A (no…[Read more]

  • I am pretty certain that theres an allowance that can be given to each player in gifts aka “gear” even at Oregon. Really, the only benefit that Oregon has over others when it comes to that kind of stuff is being able to receive gear outside of the Nike template with custom designs and what not.

While I’d like to say Oregon runs a clean…[Read more]

  • Im gonna go ahead and guess that Oregon would have no problem outbidding Louisville if they were going to do that.

  • FWIW, Oregon is actually only on this because they recruited Bowen who ultimately turned down Oregon for Louisville, who was later found to have paid him 100k. In the following tweet, Wetzle says that “being mentioned to jurors does not necessarily mean wrongdoing”.

<p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>Oregon is listed because they recruited Brian Bowen, who…

  • As a non Ute fan, I cannot wait for the day that Utah loses patience with Whittingham and fires him (or mutually part ways)

The rest of the pac-12 will rejoice.

  • I 100% agree that Kelly won’t find the same success he had at Oregon but it will be because no one is blindsided by his offense anymore. There was a time when teams in the PAC-10 had to fake injuries just to slow Oregon down. That is no longer the case, and what Chip Kelly brings to the table is something that every team sees week in and week out.…[Read more]

  • Sorry to bust your theory, But Kelly only got 1 year of Mariota (his freshman year) before going to the NFL

Chip Kelly went to a rose bowl with a guy named Jeremiah Masoli (who currently plays in Canada), Masoli was then kicked off the team for stealing. He then took Oregon to a National title game (and another rose bowl) with a guy named Darron…[Read more]

  • FWIW, Oregon had Texas a&m scheduled this season but they backed out just a little over a year ago and were replaced with bowling green which was one of only a handful of available teams.

They play Auburn next year and Ohio st in 2020. Assuming they don’t back out.

Oregon hasn’t scored a second half point the last three weeks. For whatever reason, oregon had had a tough time even moving the bball in the second half all season.
If oregon scores a td in the second half,  then I’d begin to worry.

It’s nice to see carrington coming through for oregon against utah once again though 🙂

  • I think the initial reports of Herberts injury were blown way out of proportion. As far as we know, it could have been just a tiny hairline fracture as opposed to a full break.

From everything I have read about clean collar bone breaks, its painful and can take weeks to gain full motion of the arm. Herbert however, was in a sling for 1 or 2 days…[Read more]

I was baffled when Oregon lost to ASU too, however ASU is legit. Their defense was nothing to write home about but they have improved mightily over the last 4 weeks. The Udub game wasn’t a fluke and I wont be at all surprised to see ASU win the south.

It seems almost unfair that a team as low as ASU was, who were on the brinks of firing their…[Read more]

If I were a betting man, my guess is Herbert doesn’t play. On the grande scheme of things, this game means very little to Oregon. Sure, a mediocre bowl game would feel good after last season, but Taggart won’t want to do anything that could be detrimental to his future. Most UO fans have settled to the idea that the rebuild process is going to…[Read more]

Just like Oregon, Utah is one key injury away from being a lot better than their record shows.

Seeing the trends at Utah over the years, I get why some Ute fans are frustrated with KW, but he is easily one of the best coaches in the pac12 (if not the best) I would love to see him go to a different school outside of the pac12 so I know we’d never…[Read more]

Possibly, but FWIW, Vegas isn’t sitting at Oregons practices watching Herbert in pads throwing with the 1’s like the UO beat writers are.

    tl:dr version: Burmeister sucks.

Pretty much all you need to know. Oregon had 2 QB’s transfer before fall camp due to their depth chart placement which left the 4* dual threat QB Braxton Burmeister as the only replacement for Herbert.

Herbert suffered a similar injury to Huntley against CAL 4 weeks ago. Since Herbert went down, Oregon has…[Read more]

  • as an Oregon fan, we had an 8 game win streak over OSU and a 12 game win streak over Udub (facebook wasn’t even invented the last type UW had beaten Oregon.) we lost both games last season in embarrassing fashion.

It might feel “dead” for now, but once BYU wins one, those feelings all come back in an instant 😉
