College basketball just isn’t what it used to be. I find it difficult to be that invested in it with the annual exodus of players. College basketball is largely ignored until January anyway.

Gach wasn’t exactly lighting it up last year. 
I don’t know what was going on but he was a non factor in several games last year.

Losing a key player in basketball is much more impactful than football. Losing 5-6 players each year is nearly half the team. The best players in basketball are done after one season. No continuity and that affects the quality of the product.

Why isn’t Barnes talked about more? He led us to a win in Pullman?

Easy to say that now. LK pulled us out of the depths to a sweet sixteen. Not easy to do while trying to run a clean program. Hill had every reason to believe we had the right guy

I don’t see us losing to CU this year. I also don’t think we can be too bitter about that loss since a win would have given us the right to be destroyed by Oregon.

What happened was guys we needed to develop into solid players as juniors and seniors bailed for whatever reason. As a result we became perpetually young and inexperienced. 

That isn’t a formula most programs can win with, including us. Our best years have always been teams with experienced players with some young talent sprinkled in.

He is 28/31 on FG. Pretty solid numbers

Sorry if I don’t exult over nearly losing a 20 point lead in the 4th quarter right after losing a 21 point lead the week before.
