Oregon’s QB Problem
Uh oh. Sounds like Oregon doesn’t have a QB they feel confident in rn. To be fair, they will probably figure out the situation by the time they come to RES, but this only gives me more confidence that we will beat the Ducks in SLC this year.

I had some time today, and I just watched the 2 Baylor/Oklahoma games from 2019, as well as Baylor/Georgia Sugar Bowl. Nate Johnson will be one of the most coveted QBs in the 2022 recruiting class, mark my words.
My mouth is watering watching his tape. Could you imagine how good he would look in a Utah uniform? He’s the type of QB Ludwig would do wonders with given a couple of years to coach him up. He’s a must get for us.

JP Zamora opens up recruitment
Class of 2022 QB JP Zamora opens up his recruitment and decommits from Utah. A loss, but with the depth we have now, and the potential we have to land a more talented QB, I’m not to upset or worried about this.

I read an article on 247sports by Blair Angulo talking about recruits at the AveryStrong Team PALA 7on7 tournament in SLC. He talked about Aisea Moa being 100% locked in on Utah, and had this to say about him:

Anyone know what’s going on with Sione Vaki? He was a Safety recruited in the 2019 class, same class as DT Simote Pepa. They singed their NLIs at the same time, and Pepa is coming in with the current recruiting class but Vaki isn’t. I know they both went on missions, Pepa has returned from his. Is Vaki still on his mission, or is something else going on?

Ok, I keep reading articles and comments on the internet talking about BYU, and how good they are despite the soft competition they are currently playing. They will say “I know BYU is playing against cupcakes, but they are dominating them so their ranking is justified and Wilson is an NFL level QB”.

The 2nd crystal ball on 247 sports for Bassa went to the Oregon F*cks. Both CB’s are in for Oregonf. Bassa said 3 days ago he is planning on commiting in about a week or so, so we should be seeing that within the next few days. If crystal ball predictions are any indication, looks like we’ll may be missing out on very talented in state player.
