I find him entertaining (generally) but seriously ESPN, show the game instead of him. We’ve got Seeley going to the line and meanwhile we have Walton and Pasch being given massages by the Bruins mascot, no explanation at all as to why it appeared there was a delay before he shot. Make it stop!

I missed it when he said it, but according to the Trib Coach K was asked about it afterwards so it must have happened. Krystkowiak denied it and questioned where Walton got his information. Normally I would think that’s just a coach not wanting to give out injury news, and that still might be the case, but this is Walton we’re talking about.

Jayce Johnson is a solid rebounder as well. But those are probably the only two guys that really rebound outside their area.

I did enjoy the “FBI” chants during one of the timeouts.

Arizona by 8. They stumbled a bit to start the season but they are still Arizona. This has all the makings of a sweep in the wrong direction for the Utes because ASU is solid as well. A split this week would actually be a nice accomplishment for the Utes.

Assuming my tickets show up in the mail this week, I’ll be there as well. Doesn’t make sense that there’s more of a surcharge for will call than to have them mailed. Should be a fun event. First step in my grand plan/hope that eventually they make this a 3 day, round-robin tournament involving the 4 teams.

Expectation going into this season was NIT and so far that hasn’t changed. The preseason project of 7th in the conference seems about right. We’ll be solid at home and struggle on the road which points to hovering around a .500 conference record.

He tries to force too much. When he plays a little more under control he’s really very good because as you say, he has the talent.

If basketball-reference is to be believed, both games were technically neutral, though we all know better. Sort of like a few years back when we played Kansas in Kansas City and it was considered a neutral site despite the fact they had Kansas’ mascot on the center circle.

Barefield seems to think a little too highly of his handle at times and gets him in trouble when he’s pressured.

I had the same thought about his position. 6’2″ 230 lbs., sounds like a perfect linebacker to me. Especially with our apparent depth at the running back position.

I only saw a little of the UNLV/Rice game but I thought the Rebels looked really athletic. Rice looked horrible and I’m not sure how much of that was the Rebels are good and how much of that was the Owls are bad. Maybe they are factoring in the Crimson Club “donation” which wouldn’t be reflected on the face value. But yeah, $275 per ticket might be tough to unload for a late November night game, even if the weather forecast right now is looking pretty good.
