The Lakers-Clippers game last night was tough to watch. I tuned in to see Kuzma’s debut and maybe it was first night jitters for him, but he looked rushed on the few shots that I saw. Lot of athletes out there and they shot it well. I think Johnson is still a question at center but he does battle and rebound. Hopefully it will be a fun season.

Man I feel bad for Hayward. That wasn’t karma. His shooting improvement has been impressive. He always looked like he had the potential to be a decent outside shooter but it never showed in the numbers.

Wow, very interesting indeed.

Football doesn’t really have anything comparable to the AAU system, but they do have those camps. With the amount of money involved, wouldn’t surprise me at all if there was a similar problem in football.

It will be very interesting to see how far this eventually goes.

At least the Sunday home games aren’t marquee teams. For those of us that choose to not attend those games, Wazzu and ASU aren’t huge sacrifices.

The truly disappointing games were obviously Oregon State and not taking at least one on the NoCal road trip. I’ll echo EUte, the only way we’re possibly in the tourney is with 2 wins with that second being over Oregon. That gives us a shot and even then it’s not a guarantee.

Have it recorded, looking forward to squeezing it in tomorrow between some football.

First game with the full compliment of players (I’m not counting the Prairie View game) and you could really see the potential this team has. This was a solid win. Doesn’t mean I’m expecting a win over Zona on Thursday but I would hope we get the road split.
