The Spring game always has to be taken with a grain of salt, but I came away rather impressed with Huntley. Caleb Repp and Cooperwood stood out (in a good way) among the receivers. Always a chance but I’m just holding out hope for a split. Other than perhaps Wazzu there just isn’t an easy out in the conference this year which means sweeping road trips becomes very, very difficult. The Washington sweep made up for getting swept by the NoCal schools and I will gladly take a split against the Oregon schools and SoCal.

I think the rule of thumb is you get 3 points just for being at home, so Washington only being favored by 1-1.5 means in theory they consider us the slightly (very slightly) superior team. Going to be one of those games that could go either way and will hinge on a big play or two.
