I think Tony meant to say there was a 4-way tie in the Pick ’em contest. The tiebreaker being the pick the score of the Utah/BYU game. OnlyU was 100% with his/her pick ’em picks and was closest to the correct score of the other 100% entries.

Their offense looks like it did last year against us too. Mora’s gonna be feeling the heat if he doesn’t turn this thing around.

Getting shut out by LSU is gonna make running up the score on Utah that much sweeter.

Over on all the above, but just barely for UND points, yards rushing, & passing.. 😀

I’m expecting the defense to smother UND’s running game and for our offense to put up at least 5 TDs. We may have a turnover or two, just with the O trying to do too much, but I think they play loose and have fun.

You know when people ask what your favorite holiday is? Well mine’s opening day of the Utes’ football season!!! Best day of the year! Best time of year! I LOVE college football!

Utes Equipment tweeted that they are using the practice helmets for the first game. They touched them up, but it is a bit surprising.

Next week will probably be all reds with satin lids.

Did BYU join the Mountain West when we weren’t looking? Just wondering how they got the Las Vegas Bowl slot when that’s usually reserved for the MWC champion? Guess the author didn’t care enough about them to figure that out.

On SlingTV, there is no Main PAC12 channel. All Six PAC12 network stations are listed and viewable (AZ, Bay Area, L.A., Mountain, OR, & WA). Thursday’s game is listed on all but the Oregon channel. All others have the UtahvUND game at 530. However, AZ, Bay Area, LA, and WA also have the ASUvNMSt game listed at 830. So the other channels may change…[Read more]

Go to your Guide, under channels go to PAC12 Network Mountain (it’s the 4th pac12 station), then under Schedule, scroll over to the game on Thursday. Select it and see if it gives you the option to record. If so, you should be good to go!

Well that’s not a good sign. Have you looked at the Sling DVR option? $5 a month for DVR cloud storage of up to 50 hours. It says it will record all channels except the Disney owned ones (i.e. ESPN). Look and see if you can add that to the free preview option.

I’m not sure if you’ll be able to rewind a live broadcast of the game. This is my first season having Sling, so I haven’t tested that ability. I was able to rewind the PAC12 network last night, watching the football preview for Utah, but it was a prerecorded broadcast. True. It’s like me driving up to SLC for a game, so pretty easy. Now it’s like me driving to the Vegas strip. Just a hop, skip, and a jump. I hope they fill the building.
