That may have something to do with the days they were played. The 2015 game was played on Dec 5, 2015, a Saturday while the 2017 game was on Dec 1, 2017, a Friday night.

I hope it’s closer to 50k than 40k. It would be a good showing for Utah fans to push it higher than the last couple years. Based on historical attendance and location of teams, it will probably be closer to 2016 when Washington played Colorado, 47k.

Back in the day I thought he was a real douchebag. But after what he’s gone through, and what he does now as far as coaching and helping others with addiction, I think he’s become a pretty stand-up guy.

Not sure Huntley would get much practice in before the bowl game. What is it, 15 extra practices? Not sure where in that time Tyler would be able to start taking snaps though. I’m guessing he’d need some time to work off any rust.

It’s fitting I think. I would assume the reason for transfer was Utah’s depth at the safety spot. I guess he did play a few games in 2015 but I don’t see anything for him in 2016 (admittedly I didn’t search long). Not sure the reason for leaving, but it looks like he’s found a home, so good for him.

That catch happened right in front of me; N22, row 2 (IIRC). It was all in slow-motion from the moment Harline ran free from the crowd in the center of the endzone. That moment sucked!

But yeah, the rest of the game was a lot of fun.
