You know what I’d rather see than a split into separate nations?
A parliamentary form of government.
But…
That has just as much chance as us splitting into separate nations, I guess.
Which means, none at all. -

Weird.
I would think they’d want to break Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado into a separate Blue “nation”. -

Here’s another example… this is what I mean. Audio-wise, they’re a great melodic post-grunge feeling type band.

Speaking of Katatonia… I’d be curious to hear what others think of this group.
They are a band that fancies themselves as a borderline death metal group out of Scandanavia. But….
Their lead singer can’t scream any more.
So they do things in full voice that is actually quite good.
The thing that’s hilarious is watching them live… they…[Read more] -

Funny thing… I hadn’t ever seen that movie, just heard the song… loved it.
And that’s when I got exposed to “Welcome to the Fold”.Which JUST SO HAPPENS to be one of the best songs ever for doing a single- or double-rep heavy lift at just the right time.

Ya, Disturbed is one of my favorites as well. At least 10 songs on my workout playlist.
I have a couple of Seether songs as well.
Haven’t heard that particular Godsmack song, I’ll check it out!
For whatever reason… I can’t seem to get into Five Finger Death Punch. I don’t know why. Staind I like, as well as System of a Down for sure. You…[Read more]

Stuff like Disturbed, Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, Mudvayne, Alter Bridge, Tremonti, Chevelle, Linkin Park, Filter… that sort of thing?
If so, what are you listening to these days? My son has made various recommendations to me – Nothing More, Our Last Night, I See Stars, Awaken I Am, and others – but I’m curious to hear of any other good bands…[Read more]

I feel so lucky to be in an industry that is helped by the fact that people are being driven to their homes. Remote working really makes my company’s products in more demand.

This is going to be a bad few weeks. Be prepared to see cases in Utah skyrocket. No social distancing being exercised at all of those Missionary homecomings. I get being excited for someone to come home, but it was completely contrary to the guidelines published by the LDS church. These people aren’t using their brains, and thinking the guidelines…[Read more]

I feel vindicated.
About 3 weeks ago I told my everyone at my work that I wasn’t going to travel until things settled down or burned out.
At the time, people guffawed, but went with it.
Now they’re saying I was smart.
