– Really depressing game to watch; never felt like we had any hope.
– The announcers mentioned multiple occassions where receivers were open (some were visible on tv), but QB1 either did not see them or could not put the ball in a position for the receiver to catch it. The opportunities are there, but somehow the QBs are just not seeing them.

I recognize it was in mop-up duty, but DHC sure seemed to run with purpose and “violence” during that brief time. Loved seeing that. I hope it energizes Moss a bit. Moss is a solid back… good at everything, but he seems to lack that aggressive running style that we were spoiled with by Williams, Booker and others before them.I don’t expect…[Read more]

If the Pac12 can get on the YouTube TV basic package, life will be some much better (and less expensive). You’d think that the Pac12 (in Google’s backyard) would be one of the first to get on board with this idea. The basic package has pretty much all of the primary sports channels (except Pac12) and there is unlimited DVR storage.…[Read more]

Nike released a Durant ad right after the Warriors win:

Congrats to the guy and the Warriors. But I gotta say, to me, Durant leaving OKC to join an already-championship caliber team…[Read more] -

Wonder what this is about. Also, although they say the next coach with be a current assistant, you gotta think OU will go after a top coach. -

NFL owners have officially approved the move. Vegas will now have NHL and NFL. Will be interesting to see how the teams do in attendance.
The Vegas Bowl just got a very nice upgrade. Maybe decades from now our Vegas Bowl appearances/wins will seem incredible to those that did not know it back when. -

Thought this was a nice summary of the $$ earned by the PAC12 via its participation in the NCAA tournament this year.

A good reminder of how much money is at stake on selection Sunday and during the entire tournament. Even if a…[Read more] -

I know it was already posted, but I think the fact that Utah won the NFL combine medals count is worth highlighting again. That is an incredible feat! You have to hand it to Kyle and co, they prepare guys for the NFL better than possibly any other program (it is particularly impressive considering Utah’s recruiting classes are not rated in the top…[Read more]

Looks like Alphabet (aka Google) is finally getting in on the tv market with YouTube TV. The pricing, cloud DVR, and channel lineup look great, all of the main networks, plus the primary sports networks ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, SEC, BTN … alas, no Pac12 Network. If it included Pac12 Network, I think I would be done with cable…[Read more]

I seem to recall somebody mentioning a linebacker recruit that Utah was making a late push for – I think he was from Arkansas. He had apparently been overlooked because he was from a small town. Has he committed?

I finally got around to listening to the Fourth and Long podcast from last week. Intersting listen. Lots of topics were covered in a way that one doesn’t usually hear.
I found their perspective as to why the football team has not finished strong in the regular season particularly interesting. They suggested that it might be a result of the…[Read more] -
