there are limited spots at the stadium and it fills up 2 hours before gametime. From what I remember the stadium is situated between freeways and there aren’t many other parking options.

Utah needs to go to the Rose Bowl soon (like next year)!
Because you know if Utah ever qualifies for the college playoff they’ll be shipped off to the Orange Bowl to play Boise State. Meanwhile, Florida and Penn State will get the Rose Bowl, and I’ll die a broken man.

Utah has around 11 scholarships only (due to small Sr. class) and 9 guys already committed, and since recruiting rankings are obsessed with quantity vs. quality this class isn’t going to finish top 50

here’s why its a bad idea:

– 9 game conference schedule equates to around $1 million more in TV revenue (from what I’ve read)
– we play USC every year, that would drop to about once every 3-4 years (essentially we’d get USC in SLC about once every 6 years)
– recruiting would take a hit

not yet, SDSU is building a new stadium on that site sometime in the early 2020’s, but the Holiday bowl is still at the old place
