If I’m not mistaken, I’m pretty sure the top 4 seeds are the highest ranked conference champions. So a G5 conference champion can still get a 1st Round Bye if they are ranked higher than a P4 champion.

How are you feeling about the OC change? I have to admit it makes me nervous. I think changing a coach can make a pretty sizable difference at times. Even if the offense is great and just competent, that could be enough to put Utah over the edge against BYU. I still think Utah’s defense is pretty good, even if it’s not as strong as past years.

I’ve seen some projections that have Boise State being the 4 seed and getting the first round bye over the Big 12 champion, whether that be BYU, Colorado, Kansas State, or Iowa State. I don’t think you should punt on the season just yet. I think you gotta start Wilson the next 2-3 weeks and try to get Cam completely healed up. Yeah I don’t really hate Utah. I usually want them to win except when they play BYU. But the main reason for my post is I feel like fans naturally have more pessimism about their own team especially after a loss.
