I am starting to think the Pac 12 just isnt good at Sports

Whitt should step down after tonight. How can we not recruit competent receivers?

Any program in the modern NCAA or modern NFL that is completely dependent on one back is a poorly designed offense and offensive philosophy. We need an innovative young coach to kick start our program. Enough with status quo.

Will we? I am not hopeful that we will become an innovative offensive team. Our receiving core must lead the country in perfectly thrown balls tipped to the other team for INTs

You cant fix turnovers when you have a propensity for poor receivers who bounce INTs off their hands and shoulder pads other than get different receivers.

Why would anyone be hopeful for anything more than the mediocre program we are relative to the Power 5.

If we had half way competent receivers this would be a different story. How many times did Shelley hit guys right in the hands. Fucking ridiculous

They also lost the Washington game. Incompetent would be kind. Horrible even for our mediocre program.

I said “high level” mediocrity.

Blame our receivers not the QB if blame must be placed. The only thing I would say about Shelley is there were times like Browning he could have probably taken off a little earlier and ran for the 1st down. Other than that the vaunted “brilliant” Jake Browning didnt play much better than our Freshman QB.

I think if we are ever to get out of our high level mediocrity we are going to need to recruit and coach as well on the Offensive side and the Defensive side otherwise we will never be any better than win the division once a decade type of team. Shelley’s pass was F’n perfect to #8. Asinine receiver.

He turned his hands weird for no particular reason to catch a perfectly thrown ball. I agree that is egregious to the point that he should become a DB.

Agree. Until the Utes can amass some talent on offense similar to 2004 and 2008 we are doomed to mediocrity to good seasons but not great.
