Shelley or Huntley? Whomever is better at the forward pass should be QB1 IMO.

If Shelley shows a knack over the remainder of the season of being accurate at the forward pass then perhaps we shouldn’t assume that Huntley is next years QB1.

You do realize that is irrelevant to my point that a team that had won 2 BCS bowl games including Alabama and was widely considered to be a team that should have been in Power 5 conference should have won the South before a team like Colorado or ASU who hasnt been good consistently in over a decade. I guess we will see who has regrets in the coming years. If he is lighting it up with another Power 5 school and we are stuck in Quarterback mediocrity will we admit we made a mistake not going with him from his freshman year with anticipation that he would be a stud in his sophomore and junior years?

Your comment above about more coaches doing worse doesnt make mathematical sense. If this were the case then eventually most schools would go to zero wins as the number of seasons goes to infinity. The football season is a zero sum game and the number of winners is balanced by the number of losers. Your comment can be disproved mathematically.

Agree with the sentiment above that there is absolutely zero risk in going another direction. 8 seasons and no division title. Where’s the risk? As we approach a full decade in the Pac 12 South you would think with just pure dumb luck and random variation we would win the division. Nope

That is a great point AllnUteFan – Agree Huntley and OC were leading their receivers right into a blindside hit seemingly on every downfield pass. Something isnt right with Huntley’s recognition

Not sure why we didnt go with Tuttle from the get go and let him go through some growing pains so we could have a legitimate chance for success years 2-4. Instead the plan is to go with Huntley until he is done? That will give Huntle 1 year. Time for a change all the way around. The QB play simply isnt good enough to win.

Why is Whitt perceived by some to be underappreciated? He has yet to play in the Pac 12 championship game after 7 full seasons in the league. It sounds like the meh appreciation is proportional to his mediocre performance since joining the Pac 12
