I agree that Coach Whitt’s style is the best approach for a geographic challenged team like Utah. The other option is to go gimmicky which works for a short time and then ultimately others figure it out. Play tough in the trenches football and you always have a chance against the teams with better athletes.

Great analysis. …. thanks. ….. There are not a lot of college QBs who can make those throws consistently. Goff is one of the few. I really love this defense. If Utah can manage even a small amount of offense things are looking good. This old time Utah Football pessimist is beginning to believe.

Strong is a good coach and a good guy. He is a disciplinarian so it is shocking one of his players would be tweeting. I hope he survives the year and at least gets a 3rd year at Texas. As much as a dislike the longhorns, he needs some time to get the ship corrected.

Watched the Cal – Texas game. The final score was not inductive of how well Cal played on defense for 3 quarters. They had a 21 point lead going into the fourth quarter and started celebrating early.
