Missing the Rose or CFP with such a talented team really hurts. Hope we can get back to that point soon. I sense that players and fans don’t really care about the Alamo Bowl since we missed our goal. Sad but true. I wonder if we even show up as a team?

I guess my point is, there have been lots of players over the years go to the NFL. Why all of a sudden is their some question as to should a particular player sit? When did this start to become an issue with NFL bound players maybe/maybe not playing in a bowl game? As far as I know there have been zero Ute players sitting out a bowl game. Yes I am not in their shoes but isn’t every game thus far a risk? AND if the Utes had beat Oregon how many would be sitting out the Rose Bowl or CFP?? …[Read more]

Biggest game in program history IMO. Sugar bowl was big but we didn’t have the microscope on us like this game. ALL eyes will be on this game….

Both teams are relatively healthy (they are out a few receivers (including Mycah Pittman)/we will most likely be missing Thompson). No edge there.
Both teams are solid in all 3 phases. Slight edge to our D, offense is a wash and slight edge to their Special Teams.
