THEeyepatch started the topic For those who feel sorry… in the forum Football 7 years, 1 month ago
For Kalani, why? The training wheels are off. He is no longer under the umbrella of Whittingham or Andersen. He (IMO) was never a good coach. A good ‘guy’, yes. People like zoob homer Monson built Kalani up, he always wanted Sitake down there. Be careful what you wish for and if Kalani wasn’t smart enough to see the downward trajectory the tds was…[Read more]

I absolutely love it! When was the last time the Aggies were favored against the tds? 2010? Crossing my fingers that USU plays out of there minds! That they go ‘Charles Jefferson’ all over those clowns. For those of you that doubt, have a little ‘faith’ right!?GO UTES! …GO AGGIES!

THEeyepatch replied to the topic Gunther really bothers me. in the forum Football 7 years, 1 month ago
He still has a radio job in Utah? I’m surprised. Last time I heard Gunther he came across as trying not to be a Ute ‘homer’ that it almost sounds as being anti-Utah. Don’t waste your time.

Too many Ute fans confuse “good coach” with ‘good guy’ when describing Sitake. He’s not a “good enough coach” by any stretch of the imagination. I said he would be coaching at the tds within three years when he left to Oregon State — left after only one. He will be run out of Provo within four. There was a reason Roscoe jumped out the back window…[Read more]

THEeyepatch replied to the topic Big Plays in the forum Football 7 years, 1 month ago
That’s what I was talking about the other day. Neither Huntley or Williams can hit the receiver in stride. Those are how you get big plays. We know the running game isn’t going to do it… Maybe against UCLA and their atrocious run ‘D’ haha?

THEeyepatch replied to the topic Raiders got embarrassed! in the forum NFL 7 years, 1 month ago
Just a bad game overall. On to the next one. ‘Skins were ready, Oakland… Not so much. Their QB seemed to be in the ‘zone’. Carr looked lost. No matter.GO RAIDERS!

THEeyepatch replied to the topic Is Sitake a good HC? in the forum They So Poo Poo 7 years, 1 month ago
He wasn’t even a good DC. But then I was never a Sitake guy. Nothing personal, I hear he’s a really gracious person, just never been impressed with his coaching abilities. We’re seeing it first hand right?!

I can’t tell you Utah is #1 in ‘Prevent Offense’ during the 4th quarter in the Nation. We’re #1!

THEeyepatch replied to the topic Somewhat related to UteFanatic's thread below . . . in the forum They So Poo Poo 7 years, 1 month ago
Holmoe is trying to re-live the past by bringing in Detmer. It was basically a ‘Hail Mary’ pass and you are absolutely right about last season and what has transpired today. They got lucky last season with Hill and Williams coming back and add the fact that both Michigan State and Mississippi State had terrible seasons only added to the tds…[Read more]

…and it boggles the mind how they didn’t get anything close to receiving the SMU Death Penalty. NCAA: Paying kids to play… BAD! Decades of child molestation by a DC with knowledge by the Hall of Fame HC… Meh.

THEeyepatch replied to the topic Yikes, Buffs look good out the gate in the forum Football 7 years, 1 month ago
I’m not going to be surprised if the Buffs win this game. Stanford and Washington are two teams I’ve felt were overrated since preseason. Stanford has already proven it.

THEeyepatch replied to the topic After 4 games, what is your biggest concern? in the forum Football 7 years, 1 month ago
RZ woes is glaring and the inability for either QB’s to hit receivers in stride. The RB’s and average or maybe we as Ute fans were getting used to the likes of JW3, Booker and J-Will. Another issue nobody says anything about is both Fitts and Hansen are becoming injury prone. I know injuries are part of the game but those two always seem to have…[Read more]

That’s tough but i would go with Huntley. Fitts miss more than half the season last year. Utah did alright. Hope for a speedy recovery for both. GO UTES!
