  • I can’t live in the world of ‘what if’s’. I leave those scenarios for the fantasy dwellers in Provo. Would Clemson, Baylor, Okie-State and/Or TCU be a CFP contender if they played in the Pac-12? HELL NO! But I do want a Big XII team in the CFP’s, to quiet any chatter about expansion so go Sooners or Hokies.

Btw, Utah’s OOC schedule for the next…[Read more]

I wasn’t at all surprised with the loss to Arizona. Just like USC, I didn’t have much confidence in Utah going on the road in back-to-back weeks and winning. Seems as if the Ute defense stayed in Washington. I missed the second half because I fell asleep at halftime — worked all day — but from what I saw in the first half, it didn’t seem as if the…[Read more]

  • Wazzu over UCLA(-10.5)
    Cal(-21.5) over OSU
    Quacks over Tree’s(-10)
    Sun Devils(-3) over Huskies
Buffs over USC(-16)… Haha, just kiddin’ but my fingers will be crossed.

…And the UTES(-6) over the ‘Cats!

    GO UTES!

  • Congratulations Tony, those are the kind of ‘buds’ everybody needs. Enjoy in what will hopefully be a Ute win.

    GO Runnin’ Utes!

No, no, no… don’t even talk about that. We as Ute fans should hope the Big XII gets one team in. I don’t want to spend the winter, spring and summer seeing headlines or hearing about Big XII expansion. There will be two or three articles on DNews and KSL, and one on SLTrib a week if the Big XII missing out for a second straight year. The SL…[Read more]

A first for Utah I believe? This has really been my favorite season beating Michigan, Oregon, ASU and Washington on the road. For those that want Utah to win comfortably, to look like Baylor… it’s just not Utah’s style. If you’re not used to it yet (5 years P12), then go find some other team to follow; there’s always Utah State or the team down…[Read more]

How points is Utah going to be an underdog to Arizona this week? -3? Maybe since Arizona gave USC such a good game last night, it could start at -6.5?

Good game for Utah last night and finally getting that first win against Washington. Too bad Chase Hansen was injured during the final play of the game but next one up right Tevin Carter. Damn,…[Read more]

  • It’s the parity of the Pac-12, it’s a tough conference. People say that the Pac-12 isn’t as good as some people thought but that’s all BS. All the other conferences are all top heavy. Colorado gave UCLA all they could handle, do you think Kansas is going to give any of the better teams in the Big XII a game? How about Wake Forest, are they going…[Read more]

  • Yeah Tony, I want to see Travis breakout of his ‘funk’ and if that means he has to tuck and run, so be it. Unfortunately I have plans Saturday night but I’ll try to keep a close eye on the score.

I just don’t have any doubts Utah loses this game. Utah might not get any style points for the win but I can’t control that so why worry about it.

    GO UTES!

  • Just looking at the top-25 matchups this weekend and Utah is the ONLY team ranked that’s an underdog. If somebody in the locker room, weight room, wherever isn’t pointing this out then I don’t really know what to say. Arizona made Washington look a lot better than they are. Hell, the line even moved to -2.0.

And what’s going to be disappointing…[Read more]

  • Lose the fans on the sides. Make it Utah Drum and Feather… put the next game as the header. The slide show should be QB, RB, WR, DE, DT and so and as so forth or what is getting national attention.

You probably already know this Tony…

    I a few ideas…

  • Hahahaha… that was funny.

  • It’s not going to be a ‘joyride’ Tony, but it should be an exciting season. I just don’t like seeing Gonzaga so high, they play a tough OOC slate but their conference is weak. It’s them and… no body else.

  • It’s good to see that Utah basketball is back. Though I’m not really a huge basketball fan — college or NBA — I do know the history of Utah basketball and what it means to the long-timers. Coach Krystkowiak has brought the Runnin’ Utes back from the ABYSS!

    GO RUNNIN’ UTES!

  • I agree Arby, some teams just play over their heads at home and trust me… I’m sure Huskie fans are well aware that Utah is 0-8 against them and 0-2 (I think) against Chris Petersen. Maybe they come into the game over confident like Oregon did? Though I don’t want to make a big thing about it, beating U-Dub for the first time on the road during…[Read more]

  • Not sure what it opened at. I’m seeing -1.0 on Yahoo Sports but I see people saying its moved to -1.5.

  • Don’t be! Arizona looks tired, uninterested and they might have even given up on the season. Not having a bye-week can do that. Washington has the #1 defense in the Pac-12, so what! Guess who’s second?! Wildcat fans even think their team has given up. Now I’m not saying U-Dub isn’t capable of beating the Utes — especially at home — but it won…[Read more]
