BYU will accept any athlete who meets the minimum NCAA academic requirements. Add to that the fact that they can (and do) accept non qualifiers and you could make the case that BYU has the lowest academic entrance standards in all of college football.

The only way we’d play Falk is if Wazzou wins the North and we win the South.

Agree on McGill, but if you insist on including Ferrin and Chambers who do you leave off out of Andre Miller, Bogut, Van Horn, Vranes, or Tom Chambers?
My starting five:
5 Bogut
4 McGill
3 Van Horn
2 Ferrin
1 Miller -

They’re also going to try to get Barefield another year, since he only played in 7 games as a FR at SMU.

The team is thin in the backcourt, not the frontcourt, assuming Kuzma comes back and Bealer gets another year, both of which sound likely. We’ll have Bealer, Seely, and Tillman at the 3, Kuzma and Rawson at the 4, and Collette and Johnson at the 5. If we want to make any noise next year in the PAC and NCAA Tournament we need a couple of PAC level…[Read more]

TheJuggernaut replied to the topic How many players did Majerus "lose" in any given year? in the forum Basketball (Men) 7 years, 7 months ago
In effect over the last two years we’ve lost four players that could have helped us win games – Chapman, Daniels, Ogbe, and Zamora. The rest either got recruited over (Reyes, Wright) or weren’t PAC level players to begin with (Jokl, Mawien, Miller).
Daniels and Chapman were problem children and Ogbe couldn’t stay healthy. Zamora is a bit of a…[Read more]

You’re letting the local media hyperbole get to you, let’s not wring our hands over this list of mostly scrubs and problem children:
Transferred last year:
Chris Reyes – Produced similar numbers in his JR year as Jayce Johnson did his FR year. Reyes would have played sparingly if at all this past season with Johnson, Collette, Kuzma, and Rawson…[Read more] -

It’s amazing that BYU is even or has an edge over Utah at every position.

I also would have voted for Kasich. I don’t see how any responsible, informed, rational person can dispute the fact that Trump is a disaster.

I fully expect this team, with the additions of Tillman and Seeley (and possibly one more), to challenge for the PAC12 title and go to the NCAA tournament next season.
