Seniors? LOL…he’ll be Dr. Rising by the time he leaves Utah.

I have a pair of Under Armour Utah Utes branded running shoes and I never wear them because they’re so uncomfortable.

That’s a reach. Tuttle didn’t even get any playing time before he left. Hell, he left in mid-season.

WTF am I talking about? Cam had a good game versus a bad G5 outfit (wow, imagine that) and a mediocre half (8-14 for 92 yards) against probably the worst team in the Big XII (Baylor). That WTF I’m talking about. If Cam’s performance versus Baylor sold you as a fan that he was “back”, then I can’t help you.

Of course it is. It would be totally against human nature if it didn’t. I mean, in Rising you have a guy that receives more NIL than the rest of the team put together yet he’s clearly not fit to play college football and hasn’t been for almost two years. These young adults would have to be saints to not let something like that affect them.

You know…I’m afraid that it might be a sparse crowd. It’s projected to be cold and the game probably won’t end until after midnight. Either way, it wouldn’t surprise me if people started departing after halftime.

That’s political theater. Guaranteed that Oregon goes after the top available QB in the portal rather than trusting their fortunes to the unknown of Moore.

Whitt’s almost 65. He’s not the coach to lead Utah forward. The real question is if he’s the coach who can manage Utah’s present. If Whitt, at the end of this season, conducts a drastic overhaul of the staff, he might as well go along with them.

Really? I know Oregon and USC will definitely be looking for QBs next season.

Is that Utah has essentially pissed away two seasons waiting on Rising to come back from his injuries. Even without, the finger injury, even without getting his ankle/knee rolled up versus ASU, you could tell that Rising was far from his best after suffering that catastrophic injury in the Rose Bowl.
I said it last year after we all found out…[Read more]

I’m not sure I buy that. I think Whitt is pretty tone deaf on what fans want. I think Whitt actually thought that Rising would play well and that the next series was when he would start putting it together. Unfortunately, games only last 60 minutes and time ran out.

Playing with an injury AND being completely ineffective is what seals the deal. It’s one thing to be injured and still be competent. It’s quite another to be injured and miss easy completions because you can’t throw a football accurately.

Way too many injuries over an extended period of time to say it’s just bad luck.

Not putting Isaac in when anyone who has eyes on their head could see that was the logical move is a real damning statement on Whitt. It’s just indefensible. Maybe Whitt got caught up in the game like an inveterate gambler gets caught up in one more roll of the dice, thinking that next series will be the charm for Rising.
Whatever the case,…[Read more]

Utes need to poach a guy like Dan Laning, a young coach with some energy and a strong will to win.
LOL…I know you just posted that to see what reaction you could get from people. LOL, because, you know, the guy that turned down Alabama was just waiting for the Utah job to open up.

All I can say is that I’ll never go to any bowl that’s located east of Utah. The juice just isn’t worth the squeeze.

Yeah, obviously finishing 7-5 would be a massive step back, given the expectations, and you’d expect heads to roll at that point. But, this being Utah, I don’t think that’ll happen. If Whitt stays on, I’d expect to see little to no change in the composition of the coaching staff given his sense of loyalty to “his guys.”

I predicted that the Utes, with a healthy Rising, would go 9-3. Obviously, we don’t have a healthy Rising and probably never will so a 7-5 season is more likely. If that’s the case, Utah will be shuttled off to a lower-profile bowl that most fans will have little enthusiasm to go to.

Unless the offense gets its head out of its collective ass, Utah might not win another game the rest of the season. Just look at each team they play…there’s no team left in its schedule that has a worse QB situation than Utah. That needs to get resolved yesterday.
And this comment: Utah will not lose to BYU at home, let’s be real Brother, y…[Read more]
