He’s relegated Mongolian Mike to the bench. Maybe Mike plays better coming off the bench but I’m not exactly holding my breath.

Gonna take a look at the film, focus on the fundamentals, see who can take care of the football, play until the whistle is blown, and see who’s ready to back up Cam Rising.

The prodigal son returns…his so called departure was the biggest engineered hoax since the Cardiff Giant.

Jim Mora? I thought that was Allen Iverson biffing with Larry Brown.

Rose is the guy that puzzles me. He stays when he doesn’t get a whiff of the field but he leaves after having a good game against the most hated Cougars and having a pathway to starting? Doesn’t make sense and if the gloves don’t fit, you must acquit.

The athletic department had a moment of silence for him before the start of Saturday’s basketball game. My condolences to his family.

Yeah Rick, it’s all related to the profit sharing case that the athletes won recently. Eventually, the athletes are going to receive a percentage of the gross profits that any sport makes. That money has to come from somewhere, and the likeliest place is the massive salaries that football coaches currently have. It’ll be interesting to see what…[Read more]

All I’m going to say is that Nate Johnson is a dangerous player with the ball in his hands in an open field. He has the innate ability to anticipate tackles and make defenders miss. If he wants to ever see the field again, he needs to leave Vanderbilt and come back to Utah as an athlete. Last I checked, Vandy had like 6-7 QBs on its roster and…[Read more]

You never saw Larry K’s team fight from a big halftime deficit like at the game vs Saint Mary’s? Give me a break…how about this 22 point comeback in the last 10 minutes of the game versus UCLA in 2019 at Paoley Pavilion. This is the best Utah comeback of ALL TIME.

I’m a season ticket holder and I’ve been one since I moved back to Utah in 2019. I attend all home games, no matter the competition unless I have some health issue. As such, I believe that I have an educated, though not expert, view of Utah basketball. I’m glad that you still have faith in Smith because I sure don’t. Maybe this team could be…[Read more]

Funny how Utah State is on its third head coach in three years and they still do well. Smith is the fruit of the poisoned tree. He never would have gotten the Utah job but for Harlan not wanting to be bothered and doing an actual coaching search. If you look at all of the teams that Utah has beaten this season, well, they’re teams that any P4…[Read more]

I disagree. If Dampier does well next season, he’ll declare for the NFL.

Mike might not last the whole season. And what I mean by that is that at this rate, he might be gone before the season ends. It really looks like he lacks the physicality to play a P4 schedule.

He who laughs last, laughs best. We’ll see what type of career Hunter has. One thing is for certain. At the next level, he’s going to have to settle on either being a DB or a WR. Even Roy Green played strictly as a WR starting with his fourth NFL season.

Which one of these two players is the actual difference maker? In my view, it’s Jenty and it’s not even close. You could even make the case that Hunter wasn’t even the best receiver in his team. However, what kind of started putting me off on Hunter is when I heard him say that “no one had ever done what he was doing this season.” Well,…[Read more]

I would actually say that, right now, it’s not really a job but a one way street in the direction of the athletes. I don’t know of many jobs where you can collect a $100K check and skip town the next day to a better “job” like Damien Martinez did last year. I also don’t know many jobs where you can’t perform in anything approximating an adequate…[Read more]

The Evidence—and Lack Thereof—About Cannabis
Some summary points:
1. Does cannabis have viable medicinal uses?
The evidence is mixed at this point. There hasn’t been a lot of funding going into testing cannabis in a rigorous way. There is more evidence for certa…[Read more]
