It’s totally unfair to place any blame on Wilson. Hindsight is 20/20 but Utah’s smartest move might have been to cut ties with Rising immediately after the 2023 Rose Bowl. At least we would have been spared the constant soap opera related to the situation.

In reality, Utah is not a Top 10 team with Isaac Wilson as QB1. If the Rising situation doesn’t get figured out ASAP, there’ll be more nights like this.

Every year since Whitt was hired, with the exception of 2008, Utah has lost games like this. What’s amazing is that Zona with a trash defense and being a one trick pony on offense is making it look relatively easy. When you’re not on your game and the other team has a couple of elite athletes, stuff like can happen.

Do you have parking already set up? My recommendation is to park near the Trolley Square tram stop and take the free tram up to the stadium. I’ve been doing that for years to avoid the madness of trying to navigate RES parking after a game.

I think that, at the end of the season, neither one of these teams will even challenge for the Big XII title. I’ve watched them for three games each and they’re both flawed in ways that can’t be easily overcome.
