My concern isn’t really with Utah’s performance but rather how good other top teams have looked. I think that Utah’s defense, provided everyone’s healthy and Scalley has a good game plan, can keep them in any game against just about every team. Not sure if you’re being ironic but, having watched both games, I have to disagree. He’s certainly not at the level of pre-injury 2022.

If Cam doesn’t play at all versus the Aggies, he will only have played three quarters and some change this entire football season. If his injury is minimal and he’s ready to go, he has to get some snaps prior to traveling to Stillwater.

That’s true but only if we have good QB play.

Houston… Houston was also part of the SWC and they had some really good teams in the 70s under Bill Yeoman. In fact, I saw them win the conference title a couple of times and go to the Cotton Bowl.

Never underestimate the allure of a big name. Sometimes I think that a lot of the voters would prefer the same 10 teams be ranked at the top.
