If I was Michigan, I’d go for a legit, experienced, top coach…if you elevate the OC you’re rolling the dice. He can turn out to be like Ryan Day or Jimmy Lake…

The Miami Ute replied to the topic Will I need ESPN+ for Utah football and what’s the best route to get it? in the forum Football 10 months ago
It’s on all of my smart tvs, phone and tablet. As I said, I never asked for it…it just showed up on my account a couple of years ago and it’s worked out great.

Gotta start winning some of these away games. I most certainly would not take Wazzu for granted. They’re 9-1 at home and we’ve all seen Utah’s struggles on the road. In addition, Wazzu is only one game behind Utah in the PAC standings, so they have something to play for. If you want to look at how they’ve done against the same opponents, Wazzu…[Read more]

I get ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+ included with my Verizon cellphone plan. The bundle just showed up a few years ago (I never requested it) and it’s never gone away.

Well Jim, Keita has been starting for what, three games? And he’s been averaging 3+ fouls and just 21 minutes in those games. I have to imagine his low minutes are due to quick foul trouble.

Serious question…what does Tarlac do besides take up space on the court? He doesn’t handle the ball well, doesn’t shoot from the floor well, doesn’t shoot free throws well, etc…there’s a reason why prior to the injuries to Worster and Lovering he got almost zero playing time. Am I missing something?

I second what Data said. If you an in-depth analysis of Keita’s floor time, it’s automatically limited because of his foul trouble. Witness the game against the Ducks, where he only played 18 minutes while Smith played 38.

Just go to your nearest truck stop Tony. I’m sure that they’ll be able to help you out.

ASU AD should follow him out the door. Hard to believe he still has a job after all the shenanigans under Herm Edwards.

Wow!!! I wanted to post the exact same thing but was afraid I would get an avalanche of downvotes. Personally, I think that Keita, although extremely physically gifted, still commits too many fouls and has a limited offensive game. I think Lovering also handles the ball better, provides some defensive upside due to his height, and spreads the…[Read more]

Yeah, me too…I couldn’t believe how the Utes essentially frittered away a double digit lead and had to hit a clutch basket to send it to OT.

The Utah WBB team just had beat #2 UCLA 94-81, the highest ranked opponent in school history. After tying the game essentially at the buzzer, Utah just obliterated UCLA in the OT period. Great job ladies!!!

I’m sure you know this Rick, but a lot of times, some of your best players come off the bench. If Worster and Lovering are around, neither Erickson not Tarlac really see much of the floor. Those two guys, Erickson and Tarlac, from my POV are massive liabilities anytime they see any game action and, at this point with a large sample size, I would…[Read more]

Ben Carlson was the unsung hero of this game. He didn’t score s lot of points but those he did came at crucial times. He hit a couple of threes that stopped the bleeding just when it looked the Ducks were about to go on lengthy runs. Kudos to him.

Yeah, I know, it’s sad, especially for people who remember students camping out in the snow to be able to buy tickets well before the Majerus years. It’s a work in progress. Hopefully, the Utes keep playing and winning like this during the rest of the season, make the Dance, and the feel good trend carries on to next season. If fans think that…[Read more]

That’s going to be a Quad 1 win for sure and totally concur on the Smith blocking call. If they showed it one more time on the scoreboard, I thought the crowd was going to rush the court to get at the refs.

Here’s the thing guys, Utah beat the Ducks without really playing well and missing two starters. For example, they allowed Oregon to shoot 45% from the floor and 50% from 3PT range. I was at the game and thought the crowd, though not close to a sellout, was a factor. It wasn’t as loud as against BYU but it was loud. I also thought that it acted…[Read more]

Did you read my comment? I specifically used the words “instant offense” to envision Madsen’s role in the NBA and that’s exactly what Vinnie Johnson was, instant offense.
