The Miami Ute

Well, let me tell you. The way I would think is that Cam’s coming off an injury, Utah’s a top team, and, even if I don’t start, I’m set up for next season and the ability to collect beaucoup NIL for a couple of years. Of course, that scenario sort of derails the Isaac Wilson experience.

Sure I understand that. But, at the same time, Whitt is the CEO of the team and has final say on all recruits and sets the recruiting priorities.

The Stanford safety? He was a senior last season so I guess he’ll be like Battle and Diabate…a one season rental.

I heard rumors that he supposedly had offers from out of state. We’ll probably never know.

Yeah, I know, he played four games for USU with bad stats before moving on. You get my point though. Even the G5 was too big for him and he had to go to a FCS school to excel.

The funny thing is that he’s probably going to start Spring Camp as the 3rd string QB behind Legas and Hillstead for the Aggies. Not all change is progress. For real? That’s a big problem.

That’s correct. He wasn’t projected as a starter at the start of the season but definitely made the best of the opportunity.

Yeap, just saw that…he’s going to be #8…good luck to him. I guess he’ll be closer to home. Not sure what it’s going to do to get him to the next level though…

Well, the funny thing is that there’s zero trace of him going anywhere. Usually, there’s some stuff on the athlete’s individual social media account hyping up the move with “Committed!” or some other verbiage…there’s been total radio silence on this kid.

So much for leaving the state and there being a market for him. This, to me, is a head scratching move. If Legas and Hillstead stay healthy, there’s no way that he’s going to see the field and will, again, be 3rd string at a worse school than Utah.

So, he’s dropped out of college altogether?

Well, I’ll tell you…I’ve done an internet search on him and all of his social and official media still have him as an Ute. Barnes is another one who’s MIA..classes have already started for the Spring semester and you’d think that, if they were going to leave Utah, it would have happened already.

Don’t want to make any more work for you but it would be nice if you could add where the transfers went to.
