I think you’ve found the secret sauce: teams who are winning are happy and enjoy playing together while teams that are losing do not. 🙂

2. A coach leaving a program has a far greater effect on the program, both positive and negative, than any individual player. Rather than making kids sit out a year when you don’t have the same requirement for coaches, attach a buyout clause to the contracts everyone is expected to sign starting this fall so that you at least get something in…[Read more]

NBA is full of that mentality. I would say I am optimistic.

I had to keep dropping the dividing line just to get the list that big. Over the course of a 12 game season, those benchmarks would equate to 4.1 catches and 58 yards per.
For comparison with other former Pac-12 schools, to get the same list of 22 you have to go back to (2013 would average 2 per season):
Arizona – 2009 (The RichRod offenses…[Read more]

Rising and Singer would have been very special but we all know what happened. But Dampier is also special in my opinion. We have a whole new offensive staff with new energy. I’m excited and hopeful guys will want to be a part of it.

Their last possession was sack by Jonah Ellis, sack by Jonah Ellis, 11 yard completion on 3rd and 25, then a Vaki sack on 4th down.

The last time we played a young 5⭐️ QB from UCLA was 2023. Dante Moore was 15/35 for 234 yards. 6.7 yards per pass average. 1 touchdown and 1 pick 6 by Karene Reid. He had a QBR of 7.8 Morgan and company should 🍽️ 😋

Happy spring, gentleman! With our not so favorite event: the spring portal opening next Thursday, any thoughts on where we might look to add and if we might lose anyone of significance? I know after last winter portal ANYTHING is possible but I’d be surprised if any major contributors leave. This team has already has so much juice and positive e…[Read more]

I find it hilarious that the Jazz are an absolute dumpster fire while Ryan Smith is investing all them millions in TSPP basketball.
Sports in general unless it is my kids I just don’t care about much anymore. It really didn’t take me long either. I am glad that some kids are getting compensated for being talented and honing their talent. It is lame now.

weren’t they also 4 points away from setting (instead of just tying) the program record for futility with 8 straight losses?

1. Graduates in 2026 and then mission. So it’ll be awhile before we actually see him.
2. Proud is right. Couple stinker seasons and of course we will miss on some guys.
3. I’m extremely optimistic after seeing how this offseason is going. So if we are successful like I think we will be, we’ll be just fine. Especially at TE.
4. Hunter Andrews! 🔥 -

Physicality means he could potentially hold. I am talking about blocking. Film will start to exist and teams will quickly figure out when it is a cover type situation vs handoff.
It became like Kuithe in a lot of these direct snaps. An absolute gimmick joke.
Probably just my gun shy attitude on offensive philosophy at Utah.

EagleMountainUte replied to the topic Who is Byrd Ficklin? in the forum Football 2 weeks, 5 days ago
Calling me gun shy when it comes to any news about Quarterbacks doesn’t begin to describe how I feel. I won’t trust the “rhetoric” around the qb room until 16 games are hopefully played. (Hopefully you see what I did there)

Raycine isn’t even on campus yet. He’ll get here in the summer with a few other freshman.

They’ve already tried him as an LB. He’s now on his 3rd room before his RS Freshman season which makes it seem like his athletic ability is getting him chances that his football skill level isn’t cashing in.
Based on the stats in the OP, I’d say his next spot will be D-End where they try to replicate Connor O’Toole.
