So you’re telling me 6 sacks and a pick 6? I can dig it!

Anyone know how Tafuna, Tanuvasa and Vimahi are doing health wise? Retzlaff has been fantastic but still can be forced into turnovers with pressure.

that’s how the peer review process works. otherwise, it’s just opinion v opinion and neither has to prove a thing to the other. but I did find it rich that the 2nd person felt the need to tell the OP that he needed to research and prove his opinion while providing nothing of his own.

QB’s get hurt. It’s the nature of the position and why so many rules are in place trying to prevent it.
Since 2017, the only years the opening day starter didn’t miss at least one game for injury were 2019 & 2021. Huntley played hurt from game 4 on and Brewer was a concussion waiting to happen. That’s a 25% success rate and none of the QB…[Read more]

Bishop is a huge loss which is why I’m so surprised Ritchie hasn’t been able to fill that role. He looked good doing just that in 2020 but has been a complete afterthought since. Hansen, Blair, Bishop.,, that’s close to a decade of SS’s that were great in run support and allowed Scalley to run nickel as his base since he didn’t need a third LB.…[Read more]

I don’t know why Utah is having so many injuries after spending the late 2010’s seemingly with no injuries to key players, especially on defense. It might not even have anything to do with the S&C since the gymnasts seemed to go through a period where they’d lose a couple of girls every year to Achilles tears.

“Brett Ratliff led Utah to it’s two biggest victories of the season after assuming the starting job in game 11. In his first game as the starter led Utah to an upset victory on the road over BYU in overtime. Named MWC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance. Completing 17-of-32 passes for 240 yards and 4 TDs, while rushing for 112 yar…[Read more]

I’d love to see Rose vs Poo Poo U. Even just for the intrigue. Why not see what happens? Literally cannot get worse offensively.

Question regarding everyone’s favorite topic: the Utah quarterback situation. Is the QB battle this week more about Isaac being banged up and seeing if Rose has more rhythm with the offense? If it is injury related, why wouldn’t Rose just be the starter vs Poo Poo U? Everything I’ve read seems to suggest the staff afraid of benching Wilson and h…[Read more]

Happens at the pro level all the time. A slow leak of discontentment at first but then as the losses and lack of targets, production etc add up, it turns into a full blown sinking ship.

I wouldn’t forget and would gladly take the downvotes for it. At this point, bringing back Rising is like going all in every hand when you are losing at the poker table. At best you’re hoping to break even with one good result so that you can pretend all the losing hands before didn’t happen.

Clutch Points is basically Buzz Feed click bait. The entire article was based on Whitt saying he’ll let Cam decide his future. Nothing earth shattering. What else is he supposed to say in a really quick exchange with Furlong? “Utah football’s Cam Rising gets big update on Utes future” that word salad headline alone lets you know the quality of work.

Why do so many feel the need to throw some form of this qualifier, he will be great in the future I’m sure, in with any criticism of Wilson?
He could end up great, he could end up a bust. He’s got 3 more years of college to become whatever he will be. But I’m struggling to understand why we all have to pretend that a below average QB, so far, i…[Read more]
