regardless of their “private” school status, should BYU get audited the way Utah was to hold BYU accountable for how they’re using their NIL program?
No, they shouldn’t. It smacked of conflict of interest when the audit was done but a state supported school has different rules than a private school does.

Yeah there’s nothing wrong happening. I’m always just curious to see how stuff plays out. Especially when it’s millions of dollars, a church owned school, boosters etc. 🍿

I was raised in Provo and raised in the predominate faith. So when I first saw the NIL idea being floated around I thought this could be a massive advantage for BYU. There’s no shortage of passionate and wealthy LDS fans of the school. Some of my family and close friends are included in that group. I also then thought about the direct tie to the c…[Read more]

Well if I didn’t watch the game I would assume the Utah offense didn’t attend the game and the defense scored those points.
I almost feel like punting on first down gives the defense a higher probability to score soon.

This season with Utah Basketball if you keep score it is a win.
Hell at this point I wouldn’t mind watching Utah offense practice just to erase my belief that they actually scheme for opponents.

Same reason people go back to the same place for a vacation, to the same bar they picked up a girl once before.,, trying to recreate something that is not recreate-able (probably not a word).
Rising and Whitt have each provided great things. Those are really good memories. Now is the time to create new memories, not chase the past ones.

2008 National Champ replied to the topic I'm not enjoying CFB and it's not because Utah is struggling in the forum Football 3 weeks, 5 days ago
I feel like we’re in this weird limbo period where eventually FBS will stratify into the NFL-lite division and the college division. I personally have no interest in the NFL-lite division but would follow Utah if they got in. But I’m not going to watch it, seek it out, or otherwise contribute my hard earned dollars just because TV execs think…[Read more]

As a Utah fan I can comfortably say that “annoyed” translates to jealous 99% of the time in this situation. Hopefully our basketball team will be a surprise. But in a good way. Unlike football. 😂

If:
Utah plays Whitt ball – long drives, winning TO battle, get the lead and milk the clock – Utah wins 21 to 18
Utah doesn’t, this will get 2010 TCU bad

Points don’t tell the whole story. Obviously the missed fgs were huge. The short field and score against Houston felt like a gift.
The first score was a huge play but doesn’t feel like a trend. Just like the long bomb against TCU. -

Tall. Huge arm. Pretty accurate. As mobile as Peyton Mannning. I honestly don’t know what keeps him from being a D1 starter. He was a 5 star and has nfl dad and uncle pedigree but just never happened. He wasn’t a world beater at his last school Cal Poly but was decent on a bad team. 2,247 yards on 184-of-302 passing with 18 touchdowns in nine starts.

Ghost. Listening to Kyle yesterday talk about Isaac and his injuries, leads me to think Rose is starting November 9th. Also he looks so tired and unenthusiastic. Which both are very understandable. Hopefully he can channel some BAMF for the week of Holy War. Go Utes!

It’s also 1 game. The exhibition game. I don’t think we will be anything special but losing ALL hope from that game is silly.

Also, listen to Whitt yesterday talk about Wilson and his injuries. Not just from Houston but all year. I’d honestly be surprised if Rose isn’t under center on November 9th.

Ghost said yesterday that this week is a qb battle with Wilson and Rose. And next week is all the reps for the starter.

Singer, Kuithe, Lohner, Pittman, Caldarella, King, Cald Bernard. Obviously losing Parks sucks but I’m beyond blaming injury. This season is mental and attitude. Between the guys we still have on offense and our still very good defense (pick 6 pleeease) there’s absolutely a path to 35. We just have to get out of our own *ucking way.
