Seems like a wild what if.

On the surface we want to blame lack of talent and experience yada yada. Lot of surface level problems.

Problems right now are pretty deep. Coaching is definitely being called into question. Player relationships. Team cohesiveness.

Plugging in Cam Rising in his prime wouldn’t solve the problems that are on the team.

Imagine being on defense. Holding teams to 14 and knowing it’s not enough because the offense is averaging 12. I’d want a spark as well

Every year the scout team qb is beloved. Rose was very popular when Rising was running things. I am assuming it is that as well but the way this first paragraph started out it seems contradictory.

He told me that some of the D coaches love Sam Huard. That the D and the O could not be more different. They are basically separated and do their own thing.

This is confusing to me. Help me to understand what you mean here? Why would the D coaches offer an opinion on something they are seemingly uninvolved with?

Tuttle may have actually been the canary in the coal mine. He was on the leadership council and the rumor, never confirmed that I know of, was that he left because he saw players being held to different standards as far as behavior. Yeah. This is Palpatine level chaos of a season.

I’m sure he feels like a lot of that were fed bullshit about Cam and injuries in general. Even guys like him really connected to the program didn’t know week to week. So I don’t blame him for maybe taking a break from it all. Whitt doesn’t realize the psychological exhaustion his pointless games have had on the fan base and players.

Now we know how it’s felt to be ya’ll for the last 15 years. It definitely sucks.

ALL IN OR IN THE WAY doesn’t work with mercenaries. Maybe you can have that attitude when a kid who commits either spends 5 years doing it your way or calls it a career. But if you are changing out 25-33% of your team yearly in the portal, you’d better be able to manage their expectations instead of just your own

Appreciate your thoughts. I’d say even more than NIL a lot of people struggle with the transfer portal. Or at least the unlimited amount you can bounce around. Utah benefits more than it hurts us in regards to the portal so I’m not criticizing it in general. I just wish they would cap the amount of times.

Rising had been separated from the team for a lot longer than since this latest injury. Guys will keep their mouths shut about one player getting the most money and attention when the team is winning. But that doesn’t mean they like or dislike the guy.
