I definitely have more excitement for this weekend and it’s all because I now want to see how the kids rally and overcome everything that’s happened so far this year. That’s a hell of a lot better than spending all week hoping they don’t figure out a way to blow it again.

Not sure if you spend any time at 247 but the UteZone writers are openly mocking Whitt’s injury news policy in damn near every article I read. Those guys (and gals) are almost as big of homers for Utah football as the DNews is for the parochial school so it’s not just us on here who are saying enough’s enough.

I doubt Whitt would do it but I’m seeing a parallel to what Harbaugh went through around 2020 at Michigan. He was underperforming expectations and close to being fired. It’s not a players only meeting if it is being reported back to the coaches. That would only further divide the team if they thought their words could be held against them.

Sometimes I wonder if we are all watching the same games. Because the conclusions that come out of them are so completely different.
