“Three season ending injuries” should be nuff said but not with Utah fans.

May be mediocre but still 6-0. Hell, Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl and Dan Marino didn’t.

I was hoping we could have at least a week before the will he, won’t he talk started back up. Instead I got an hour to try to fall back in love with Utah football before the guest who won’t leave set up his tent in my brain again.

I definitely have more excitement for this weekend and it’s all because I now want to see how the kids rally and overcome everything that’s happened so far this year. That’s a hell of a lot better than spending all week hoping they don’t figure out a way to blow it again.

Not sure if you spend any time at 247 but the UteZone writers are openly mocking Whitt’s injury news policy in damn near every article I read. Those guys (and gals) are almost as big of homers for Utah football as the DNews is for the parochial school so it’s not just us on here who are saying enough’s enough.

I doubt Whitt would do it but I’m seeing a parallel to what Harbaugh went through around 2020 at Michigan. He was underperforming expectations and close to being fired. The hammer came down and he kept his job under condition that he take a pay cut (I believe it was incentive laden but could be wrong) and overhaul his staff.

Yeah, the “Ludwig’s offense is too complex” theory seems to have been borne from comments Whitt has made. We hear so often about individual players that they don’t know the playbook so that’s why they aren’t playing.

key words being “we went away”. The interesting thing to me is that Ludwig called the ASU game exactly like I said above. Or Rising checked into those types of plays. Either way, there were a lot of quick passes that just needed better execution.

It’s not a players only meeting if it is being reported back to the coaches. That would only further divide the team if they thought their words could be held against them.

Is OC Ludwig or someone in local sports media? I’m outside of Phoenix so I don’t always get the references.
