      and to contemplate a scenario like this: a player or players turn down a solid NIL offer which is 3 to 4 times higher than what the Utes Collective offers him or them to stay and play with the Utes another season and that player or those players consider both hugely different offers and finally chose to stay and play again for UT.

      Yes, the scenario is that a player or players actually chose to stay and play with the Utes and simultaneously accept 200% to 300% LESS NIL $ because he or they believe in the team, believe in the team’s ability to continue to compete at a high level, believe in his or their coaches, and have loyalty to his or their teammates and team OVER his or their desire for a single, NIL payment 2 to 3 times higher than their still significant, Utah NIL offer.

      What would we think of such a player or group of players? Would we respect their loyalty to the Utes team and their commitment to remain a “Utah Man,” or would we say that he or they had made an epic mistake and should have left the Utes for the much higher pay-out offered by the other team?

      DataUte, regarding your side comment about Cam in parentheses- stating that “Cam still hasn’t (graduated) after 7 years”- is that “a lie, a damn lie, or a viscous lie (attributed to Twain who credited Disraeli)? “ Yes, “statistic” was the original 3rd lie type.

      As you know, the Rose Bowl Parade always occurs before the Rose Bowl game, usually at 8 AM. Ever been?

      Last fall, Cam likely had NIL agreement offers from other schools’ NIL collectives that were double the amount of the NIL offer the U of U collective presented to him. However, it appears that Cam stayed loyal to the UTE football program, his Utes’ teammates, and the Utes fan base and was was fully rehabbed and prepared to play this season.

      In response to “Where is Cam in this Qb debacle?” We know that Bernard was named as an offensive captain two weeks ago, on 10/15 after Cam’s leg injury sustained on 10/11 was announced as “season ending.” I imagine that Cam’s access to and participation in team meetings and practices has either been extremely restricted and not encouraged or no longer allowed at this point.

      The hit Rising took near the end of the 2022 Rose Bowl vs. Ohio State did not cause a “season ending injury.”
