Already killed it last year during last home games and it won’t continue this year. Cannon remained.

Thlete replied to the topic There should be a rule that if a FBS team schedules an FCS team… in the forum Football 7 years, 2 months ago
I think the rule needs to be at most one FCS game and it must be in week 1 or 2. Call it the no more loophole SEC rule.

Thlete replied to the topic Starting QB in the forum Football 7 years, 3 months ago
I agree with LIR, I want Troy to be the leader/starter because he has improved under Troy Taylor’s wing and have Huntley come in for red zone or zone read packages to give us another method for attack.

Thlete started the topic What gives me the most hope about our offense in the forum Football 7 years, 3 months ago
I keep going back to how Troy Taylor was able to outscore Wazzu for his very first game at the college level at OC. To me, that means that his offense truly is easy to adopt and we don’t have to wait a full year for his offense to be installed and most effective. Also, his comments about how much difference there has been from Spring to end of…[Read more]

Thlete replied to the topic What's everyone's take on no starting QB being announced as of yet? in the forum Football 7 years, 3 months ago
Whitt and Jim Harbaugh are kindred spirits in this regard. Michigan hasn’t even updated/released their depth chart since last year. I remember khaki pants didn’t announce a starting QB when we played them in the opener and the only after the first time the Wolverines took the field after opening kickoff is when everyone finally knew who it was going to be.

Thlete replied to the topic Local Media Hacks in the forum Football 7 years, 3 months ago
I don’t know why anyone gives Monson or local radio hacks the time of day. They are terrible and will never change. I simply don’t listen or read to anything they do and it’s wonderful. Plenty of other content out there that’s much more professional and well informed.

Michelle Bodkin has confirmed on Twitter that it was official last night. No official announcement coming though as he wants to just get to work. Love it.

Thlete replied to the topic That is game. Bad fouls, not rebounding or blocking out. On the positive we in the forum Basketball (Men) 7 years, 11 months ago
Frustrating first half, fun to watch them battle in the 2nd. Devon Daniels is a player, Bonham still a baller, Zamora can create, and I’m seeing some positives from Jayce Johnson (and also why he’s called “bowling ball in china cabinet”).
Let’s get Barefield and Collette here next week and play well in Hawaii to get ready for a tough conference slate.

Thlete replied to the topic Better pretty much across the board in half 2 in the forum Basketball (Men) 7 years, 11 months ago
We’re not a mid-major, we can make the tourney by playing well in the Pac 12. Solid conference this year. Make some noise and the OOC only matters for seeding.

Thlete replied to the topic Just returned from the game, 3 things really really bugged me. in the forum Football 7 years, 12 months ago
Colorado had 0 penalty yards for the entire game. I don’t remember seeing that before. One flag was thrown for holding on the 2 yard line (a net 1 yard penalty), so it was declined. That was literally it. I saw their OT in a full bear hug of Dimick several times as they run around the edge and no flag. They blatantly grabbed CBB as he ran past…[Read more]

Thlete replied to the topic Why Colorado Should (Maybe) Be Afraid of Utah in the forum Football 8 years ago
I sure hope the Utes can pull off the upset in Boulder this weekend. Can’t let those Buffs get a South division title before we do. Also, the streak of being ranked in every Football Playoff poll is on the line. We are only one of a handful of schools to be ranked in every one. I’d love to stay in that small group. Oh, and the bowl options…[Read more]

Thlete replied to the topic The Best/Worst Case Scenarios for Utah in the forum Football 8 years ago
Thoughts and prayers for the latter. I kind of have my heart set on winning the South, so it’ll be a hard pill to swallow if USC or especially Colorado get there ahead of Utah. USC will be heavy favorites next year so gotta take advantage of the here and now.

So crazy how quickly the tables have turned. Quite the respect Utes are getting from Oregon talking heads.
