It was last year, but I talked to Lander’s dad while he was working the chains one Friday night and he said 2 things that surprised me:

      1. Lander will be the possibly most talented of his sons and he thinks he will end up at DE with his growth trajectory.

      2. He is pushing him to Utah obviously, but feels Lander may want his own path and go out of state.

This is not a negative reflection on Utah or the coaches. 18 yo kids just deciding for their own futures is all.

My kids go to Corner Canyon so I’m glad I don’t have to cheer for any Cougars but that name would have fit very well for the area.

I bought 5 to take the whole family. Section 124 row 11. Ready to extend my personal streak of witnessing Utah victories live for the In-State game. I’ve been there live for every victory since 2002 and happened to miss each loss in that span. Only missed the 2005 victory.

Ok just now seeing pictures that he was awake as they took him off the field so in case you want to see the scary moments of his collapse, here’s a quick summary:

8 seems like just the right number. No matter what they do, PLEASE don’t put the early rounds in bowl locations. Reward the better regular season (higher seed) with home field advantage. College football belongs on campus as much as possible. Final 4 can remain in neutral sites.

Correct, the In-State Game has not been lost by Utah in nearly 12 years. BYU fans are really hoping this is the year since we don’t play again for 3 years thanks to the Florida series. Utes win this year and it’ll be a 15 year minimum streak.

Yeah I’ve struggled to understand them at dynamic. I’m active LDS, conservative, but got that shot as soon as I could and put my kids in trials to get them early. Wife is a trauma nurse, so maybe that affects our understanding of the situation.

Interesting discussion with my BIL who refuses to get vax for him and family – even after the First Presidency announcement yesterday. My wife had a nice argument with him about it since we are on vacation together right now.

He countered with “only people with co-morbitities get really sick” but he has a few himself that she pointed out. Still didn’t budge. *shrug*

It’s super hot outside and many of us have a sweet tooth made for ice cream.

Seconded on Nielsen’s. The one in Bountiful is the best for some reason but I got it up in St George, too. I’ve only ever gotten Oreo or Raspberry concrete.

As for store options, the Private Selection is amazing. Chocolate Ganache or Maine Blueberry Cheesecake.
