Love this…I wonder if MB is outside this list because of ball control

Obviously Rising’s health is the key factor. To be fair, I’ve heard pundits, analysts and betting guides all over the place on this.
Pros for Ok State:
Gordon is talented and due
Bowman and his WRs have played exceptionally well
Stillwater is a tough place to play
Utah has consistently struggled on the road in big games
Rising may be hurt or limitedI can see the combo of those factors playing into a high confidence level for serious bettors.
On the flip side, many guys are taking Utah.
The better defense
Stronger running game (this season at least)
Rising more consistent, better playmakerThis is obvious but I think it comes down to the Ute DL vs. the Ok State OL. Need to pressure Bowman and slow Gordon down. Utah’s DL / edge is fantastic but so is Ok State’s OL. I can see gamblers all over the map on which side they fall on.

You can watch the spring game on Youtube.
Both looked very good. Rising has such a great pocket presence and scans the field so well.

Badger was visiting UW on Monday. Some UW fans are expecting a commitment. Not sure if that’s from sources or just assumption following the vist.

I’m all for people sharing what they’re hearing. If it’s your own guess then say so…but if it’s a legit rumor, better post than keep us all in the dark. At worst, it’s fun to think about. So…post it. Why not? Most on here are sophisticated enough to determine the spectrum between rumor, speculation, educated guess, sourced but not verified rumors and true, coming down the pike intel.
Badger to Utah doesn’t make sense initially because we are pretty set. He may not get the targets he’s looking for if he wants to be the guy. Conversely, it makes sense he wants to be part of a top 10(ish) team, legit P4 playoff contender, high octane offense where defenses don’t have to zero in on him. Proximity to Utah and familiarity make sense.
That said, badger would likely be the man at a couple other stops. That might be more beneficial if he sees the NFL as a possibility. He is a senior. We have plenty of those at WR, so it seems Utah might be more in the game for a younger player.
But…we’re stacked at WR, so i can see the mindset of swing for the fences or build for the future.
Fun to speculate. I won’t hold my breath for tomorrow but I would love to be surprised and give Cali major props for calling it days in advance.

To me, that’s a great sign of confidence. So many frosh or young QBs love to throw the RB or to the TE. Most of Wilson’s attempts were downfield.

To be fair, Isaac was consistently throwing to WRs. Maybe he got the memo. lol

Yeah, just seems like Utah can move the chains so many ways. The defense has to account for Singer and for Kuithe. So if you can get Parks / Alford / Pittman / King open consistently, it’s going to create matchup issues.
If we can complement that with a solid Bernard / Mitchell run game, opposing defenses will have to stay honest.
Then they’d still have to account for Bernard receiving out of the backfield and keeping tabs on Rising tucking and running.
I can see Ludwig scheming to exploit each Ds’ weaknesses and changing game plans by the week.

triage24Participant
Agreed. Nobody can predict How he’ll respond to getting hit.
In terms of watching him run, read through a defense and throwing mechanics… It was valuable.
That’s pretty much all anyone could observe at this point.

Doodle?
Am I wrong and thinking that Mitchell is going to have a rock solid season and a future star?
