  • I think the biggest arguments against are the increased travel for all sports which come with increased costs and potential downsides in terms of paying well week in and week out with the added travel. The other argument is signing onto a potential GOR running through 2036(I think that’s the year) if that thing actually stands to legal scrutiny.…[Read more]

  • What contracts are signed before a transfer? Come on man, that’s common sense. It just doesn’t happen that way. All these representatives put out their “feelers” and get verbal offers. These reps or agents don’t sign any contracts in the portal. I keep pointing out this has happened before at other universities. The university saying one…[Read more]

  • I’ve been following it pretty closely actually. What contacts are signed prior to the transfer portal process in college football? Promises are made and then players evaluate their options and decide what is best for them. I believe it was Jordan Addison as I’ve referenced in a previous post on this subject that was promised certain things…[Read more]

  • The second domino falls. Interesting.

  • It’s “3rd party” I guess…. I believe there’s certainly some collusion with the university behind the scenes as we have heard rumblings about etc. The NCAA just doesn’t have the teeth it used to in enforcing anything. Even prior to NIL players were obviously being paid. I think this is a good move by the kid and the right move. If you’re…[Read more]

  • Are we to believe he’s lying? Why would a QB that has no real future in the NFL decide to transfer out after starting 3-0? Keep in mind he’s been fairly mediocre. I’m much not willing to believe they promised one thing and didn’t follow through compared to him just deciding he wants to leave for whatever reason.

It’s the save type of thing that makes it to the players ears and eyes all the time and has no real benefit for them honestly. Too many teams have bought into their own hype only to be humbled. Again, whether it’s meant to be tongue in cheek or not, I hope the players are ignoring such things.

  • Yeah, they got out-physicaled all game along with Baylor the last couple years, and yet, this notion that we were somehow going to get bullied was out there prior to this season. They also went with this line about how playing in Eugene is no comparison at all to playing in Stillwater etc. Maybe they should go try playing in Eugene or at Husky…[Read more]

We just have to ignore this kind of talk, and keep playing with a chip on our shoulder. Use Gundy’s press conference as bulletin board material. How we play good sound football, but not overly talented… How they gave the game away…. Remind the team what happened against AZ last year and the late td to add insult to injury. My point,…[Read more]

  • He was promised an NIL figure and they obviously either misled him in the hopes he would just eat it, or they couldn’t come up with it at the end of the day. I support this kids actions. If you make promises, you should keep them. I recall USC did this with Jordan Addison if I recall correctly. Made NIL promises that never came to fruition…[Read more]

  • That’s exactly how the presser felt to me. Almost a “we beat ourselves” vibe. You didn’t beat yourselves, Gundy. You lost to a better team. It’s almost as if he went into the game thinking we were overrated, and they would humble us for all the nation, and the B12 schools to see. When in reality, he got the reality check.

  • They did get whooped and the final score sadly didn’t reflect that. If we hadn’t played prevent, they might not even score a touchdown. I get that he doesn’t want to acknowledge that they got dominated in about every facet of the game, but he shouldn’t be making inferences that they “gave the game away” or that we just play good football yet…[Read more]

  • I’m happy for them too. That program deserves to be in the new PAC12.

  • I just recall the camera guy faking me out on that particular play thinking back. Had no idea Covey actually was catching that ball let alone returning it.

  • That no call late hit on Money was certainly a wtf moment that seemed like some home bias.

  • Agreed. It obviously have them confidence and momentum. It also didn’t accomplish its ultimate goal considering how quickly they actually scored against it.

  • K State looks like a deer in the headlights right before I changed the station. Some really bad decision making. They should’ve lost to Tulane, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

  • A lot of these B12 fans still are under the impression that the PAC was mediocre, weak, or even overrated. They didn’t believe the USC’s, Oregon’s, Stanford’s(when they had good physical teams) saying complimentary things regarding Utah’s physicality on the field. I hate to say it, but the B12 and what they’re used to facing is Charmin Ultra…[Read more]

That safety sitting there and watching the play develop on the heave by Sanders to tie it…… Lost them the game.

  • I think you can be critical though regardless of the outcome. You have to look at it from a different perspective too. Had we stayed with what was working then maybe they still score, but I can’t be convinced more time wouldn’t have been wasted in the process of scoring. I feel the prevent defense actually gave them the hope and momentum…[Read more]
