Probably right…a few more players like Koroma and Tataki that most likely find their way onto the field. Where I agree with Utah above is the overall depth across the board. In essence everyone of our starters would either start or push to start at the TDS and our 2’s would replace their 2’s in almost every case.

Losing Tufele hurt…keeping 5 star talent home is the next step. That said, we have plenty of talent on the D-line and I can tell you that all 3 studs we signed last year (Fotu, Anae and Tupai) all said “he ain’t coming in and taking my playing time!!

Williams did practice this week…will play

Heard a few weeks back that T Williams has either a sprained or torn MCL but that they believed he would be able to play through it. Same person told me that Tim Patrick was in a boot after the game against USC and didn’t practice leading up to Cal. After seeing Tim limp around (in person) at Cal I have no reason to believe otherwise. I’m excited…[Read more]

It’s disappointing that we finished so poorly down the stretch but honestly the more I think about it the more fired up I am to watch the boys beat the TDS! I agree he has to go but how good would they be with him back as a Junior?? You lose Taylor and Loveridge but Chapman and Kuzma fill in, Bonham and the Jojo kid with plenty of depth behind them…Final 4 type talent…Never happen but fun to consider.

This team is clearly banged up…both linebackers – Paul and Norris aren’t right, Carter’s not right, I’m sure many others at this point of the season too. Utes 38-24. They can’t stop the run so this will be a classic “Whit game.” Ball control with Booker, kicking game and the front 7 stopping the run. Booker might get 35 touches.

Their 5 receiver set will give us problems and we’ll give up some big plays but if we don’t turn it over we’ll wear em down.
