UteManX replied to the topic B1G requirement of building an on-campus production studio in the forum Football 9 months ago
A proper WiFi network will be available this season, for all fans. And it is little known but a small studio space is underground just north of the huntsman center. We also helped finalize one in the football center a few years back and there are plans for one, with some in place essentially under rice Eccles. There has been a lot of focus on a tv…[Read more]

I have not looked, but do you have social media accounts with the link to this site? Maybe just a twitter and Instagram where you share some photos or “ads” promoting Utehub.com and I bet the word gets out. Hashtag #Utes #Utahfootball #utahbasketball, etc. Tag each sport on Instagram. I bet it grows. Of course growing with the right people is ideal.

That would be great. We would love to tailgate.
We booked for the Atherton on the 21st. Thank you for the recommendation. We will also plan on heading to Eskimo Joes for some drinks and atmosphere. We are really looking forward to it. Hopefully we will get a night game out there. Something about under the lights.
Thanks again and thanks for the…[Read more]

SalUteopia replied to the topic How do you feel about the hype going into the 2024 season? in the forum Football 10 months ago
You nailed it, @RedRhino! I’m far too invested, and not falling for the hype is just my way to cope. But I agree that it’s terrific for our program, and I love it when the pundits talk about our program.

I don’t hate the hype, but the kind of fan I am, I find it easier to embrace the underdog role.

It’s great to be in the CFP conversation and strong favorites to win the Big XII, but is the hype making anyone nervous? It might be justified in a way, but should we be the overwhelming favorites entering a new conference (and playing with a target on the back)?
I definitely see us as a strong contender, but don’t think we’re leagues above OSU,…[Read more] -

SalUteopia started the topic Is QB2 race really a “dead heat”? in the forum Football 11 months ago
Based on the Spring Game, did anyone think the QB2 battle is actually a “dead heat”? Very small sample size, but Wilson looked better than Rose IMO.
Some questions:
Will Wilson be ready to go behind Rising in 2024 given his pending surgery?
Hypothetically, even if Wilson is ready, will KW use a true freshman as a QB2?
Since the chances of the…[Read more] -

I would switch the TSPP and Arizona games, if nothing else from a conference race standpoint.

Agreed, ‘if ever’ being the key part. I think Utah, OKSU, TCU, KSU have the best shot. UCF and UH have the potential. Baylor is the wild card.

@Virginia, this is a great point. A 12-team playoff will provide relatively easy access to the CFP compared to the 4-team model. However, it’s going to make it more difficult to win a natty because you’ll have to play 2-3 extra games against elite teams.

Many Utah mentions by Reddit users. One out of the 3 podcast hosts also chose Utah.
Personally, I think it’s a long shot and virtually impossible, especially in the NIL era.
