Thanks so much for your streaming. I have really used it this year and I have a friend in Thailand using it too. You really are doing some of us a great favor.

I want the Utes to go all out take more risks, they have nothing to lose, Colorado will be favored so go for broke on every play. Does it matter if Utah loses by one point or twenty? They have nothing to lose now.

The down side to a win would be that we would be handing the south to SC. But it might be nice to be the spoiler to Colorado.

There are really only two ways to have a good OC. One is to pay top dollar and buy one. Two is to develop one over years of time and training. The problem at Utah is that they cannot pay top dollar, so they are stuck with option two. And the problem with that is there is nobody able to train one. (Whit lacks the skills to train an OC) Whit’s problem is do we hold on to Arod, give him more time? Or can we bring in someone like Chow to mentor him? Or does he cut bate and hope to find a diamond in the rough? Each option has it’s risks and benefits.

Truly there aren’t any sure fire options. I don’t know which would be the best option, but I lean towards mentoring first or cutting bate second. What say ye?

I Agee 100%. Chow has the ability to manufacture  an offense with the talent that is available. He has a knack of keeping the defense on its heels because he is not predictable, and I think Whitt trusts him to run the O without help. He also recognizes talented players, and plays to their strengths.

So we then let Arod screw up the running game! How would that be better?

So you think Arod is not worth developing? Or just that we have missed the best case?

Manning was not a bad QB, he was just not in the right system at Utah. Wish him well at Georgia State.

At last count thirty-seven offers. He is listed as a four star but in reality he is a five. He could be the cream of the 17 crop.

For me it isn’t one or two bad plays but more of an attitude. There will be critical plays in every game. I understand that you take what they are giving, but why not do it by surprise? The pass plays you referenced were low percentage plays because they were expected. They were easily defended along with a short run play. It seems to me that Utah’s O is just too damn predictable.
