Look at the current infection rates of Florida, Georgia, Texas and Arizona. Several of them are climbing so alarmingly, they are getting ready to go back to being closed.
Opening is fine, but if you don’t keep up the mask use and social distancing, you will have thrown any gains away and be right back where you started.

Assuming there is any herd immunity. Still seeing studies that indicate having covid doesn’t give immunity. And if that’s the case, chasing a vaccine may be futile.
We would need a blocking agent otherwise it just keeps going around and around until anyone susceptible to the serious version has died. That level of herd immunity would make…[Read more]

Felt it just fine in West Valley City, though my niece in Herriman didn’t feel anything. It could knock this off anytime.

My mother always thumped melons before buying them. What she hoped to hear was never clear to me, but she always did several before making her final selection so she must have gained some information.

Go Lady Utes! It has to be a tough go to try to be competitive in this conference with all the great women’s programs here. Lynn Roberts does a great job and to not finish at the bottom every year is an accomplishment.

A team that has been to every NCAA post season tournament ever is probably elite by default.
But they are outstanding this year.

Until fan opinions put points on the board, I say, screw’em.
We’ll leave them in the dirt for dead. Ask Cal.

The interim SC AD already said Helton will finish the season. So he will likely not be fired until 3 secs after their last game.

Gary Sapp started the topic Stats Question for all you Stat geeks in the forum Football 5 years, 1 month ago
Before the start of the season there were a number of articles showing our probablity of winning each game on the schedule.
I would be greatly interested in seeing how the projections against the rest of our schedule looks now. So do any of you remember where those projections would be now?

Somebody named Anae is likely gonna have a big game again. Just keep making this QB’s run for their lives and the win is likely ours.

#4 got the targeting ejection and I have seldom see one more clearly deserved. In SloMo, the leading with the crown of the helmet was especially clear with those earwax colored helms and he jumped into it as well. Too bad he got to get out of the rain. He should have had to sit in it and watch his team get their ass handed to them.
Couldn’t see…[Read more]

Gary Sapp replied to the topic USC with a ton of injuries. in the forum Football 5 years, 1 month ago
Anything that helps them drop 1 or 2 more games is good with me. Not wishing anything permanent on anyone, just some help for the South Championship.

Gary Sapp replied to the topic Jayden Daniels in the forum Football 5 years, 2 months ago
If he can stop turning out the Burficks and other sketchy players that alone will be a big plus for ASU and the rest of the conference. I cringe every time I see him mentioned doubly so if they note he is from ASU or the Pac-12.

Meh. If you want to sing ‘Fan’ instead of ‘Man’ that’s pretty low on the world outrage scale for me.
More important that you are singing, especially in support of a win.

Gary Sapp replied to the topic I'm shocked that so many keyboard coaches think OSUs O-fence will roll us. in the forum Football 5 years, 2 months ago
Playing like we all know we can, OSU doesn’t get enough points to register. We just all fear another USC type performance. Though admittedly we can play that bad and probably still roll them.

Gary Sapp replied to the topic Furlong article raises the question again. in the forum Football 5 years, 2 months ago
Yeah, we are the hunted this season rather than the hunters, so nervous is likely appropriate.
That does not that I think OSU has a snowballs chance, but we are getting everyone’s best game so we have to be at our best everytime. USC shows what happens if we slack anywhere.

Going to Corvallis to see your first Ute game live in 18 years. Dedicated or damaged?
Either way, I hope you totally enjoy yourself and that we come back with a W and minimal injuries. Next weeks game is going to me more challenging and more important.

Gary Sapp replied to the topic If Moss isn't 100% but good enough to play, do you play him? in the forum Football 5 years, 2 months ago
I agree IF we are playing the same as last game. Let him prove the shoulder is not an issue, get his legs good and warmed and then let the understudies do their thing.
We should be all over these guys, but you never know.

Gary Sapp replied to the topic Julián Blackmon in the forum Football 5 years, 3 months ago
Yep, Julian is back, our two dinged up OL’s are back. But SC is down their best QB and are now living with the shame of losing to the Cougs.
We’ve got them mentally and physically.

Gary Sapp replied to the topic Oh PAC12 refs, why do you suck so bad? in the forum Football 5 years, 3 months ago
That’s never happened before. Oh wait… Wasn’t it MSU that got screwed on bad clock management by the officials a couple of years ago? They are slow learners.
