Utah

  • This reminds me of what Bodkin said. She said there are a lot of players that want to come to Utah, but Utah is being very picky about who they are letting in. They know they are in a place where they can win the Big 12 and really establish themselves in a new conference and they don’t want a dud to ruin it.

  • lol. I was going to say, “The Lud double reverse for a TD! It’s our year baby!”

  • Ah You and Bernard are completely different situations.

Bernard was a situation of a very overzealous honor code nazi looking to bust a BYU player. Bernard was in a parking lot and the cops essentially waited until the car moved, pulled them over and found an open container of alcohol in the car. Not smart, not what I’d want my kids to do but…[Read more]

  • In society, we have become too much of “all or nothing” and “black and white” while life is nothing but different shades of gray.

ENJOY IT. Preseason hype has LITTLE to do with how the season will pan out and everything to do with they type of program, reputation, history and respect you have. There is a reason why Texas and ND are top 25 every…[Read more]

Here is a big issue with the University of Utah: It relies on taxpayer dollars for a lot of funding. In most states, the legislature supports their flagship university.

In this state, most of the legislatures have pledged secret back room loyalties to a corp that owns a rival institution and the legislatures do what they can to undercut Utah.…[Read more]

  • Kansas St fans are the best. The absolute best.

It warms my heart how absolutely butt hurt they are with how many people are picking Utah.

Their hate is quickly descending to BYU levels of hate and it’s hilarious.

  • Does he have a RS?

Then you could RS him in basketball and football this year, have him change his body to a football body, and then play TE in 2026. That gives him the best shot to make the NFL.

  • Weird. Is this the basketball player?

  • I love this from Deion. He brings in a player under the guise that he will get them to the NFL and that’s the most important thing.

When the player doesn’t get better on his own, cause Deion ain’t got time to help a player develop, Deion calls the kid a talentless scum that needs to get good grades because the NFL ain’t in his future (even…[Read more]

  • Yeah, Deion attracted so much talent to Colorado…he took them from one conference win to…

    drumroll…

    ONE CONFERENCE WIN!!!!!

Holy shit!!!! End football, we have a champ!!!! Deion did it!!!! He discovered the cheat code to college football. Watch out!!!!

He may improve!!! Colorado may get TWO conference wins this year!!!!!!!!!

    HOLY…[Read more]

  • Hunter and Sanders were always going to be drafted. They came draft ready. And how have they improved under Deion? Hunter is still a twig. As gifted as he is, if he can’t stay on the field, he can’t play. And his kid…he holds the ball longer than Fields did. How has he improved?

Look at the NFL. The new offenses with the RPO and quick passes…[Read more]

  • I don’t get why anyone gives Deion the time of day. Dude is a blow hard who has accomplished absolutely nothing. It’s really pathetic when you look at what he’s done at Colorado:

    No draft picks.
    One PAC-12 win.
    Blames everyone but himself.

Dude is a loser. Why any recruit would go play for him is nuts. He doesn’t get you drafted. He doesn’t…[Read more]

The problem with Vaki is he tested out so unathletic and stiff. That is killer for a safety. I was shocked at how stiff he tested out as.

I think RB is probably the better shot at him making an impact at the NFL level. I still think he should have come back to Utah and focused 100% at safety OR running back and would have been drafted higher.…[Read more]

  • Man, y’all don’t quit your day jobs. Ha ha.

I love looking back at stuff like this.

  • Utah replied to the topic Ephraim Asiata in the forum Football 5 months, 4 weeks ago

Sometimes a talented guy just isn’t a good fit. It isn’t good or bad or anything else. What Utah wants and what he wants aren’t the same, so he went somewhere else.

He’s a great player and we will get to hear for years why didn’t we take him, but I’m ok with it. When Whitt/Scalley meet with a kid and there is a mutual parting of the ways it’s…[Read more]

  • Ha ha! Mom, do not go outside tonight!

    Funny Denver/Wilson story…kinda.

The Eagles wanted Russell Wilson. They had agreed to a trade with the Seahawks for Wilson for Hurts, the pick that became Jordan Davis, the pick that became Jalen Carter and a couple other picks.

Wilson said he didn’t want to play in Philly, so the trade wasn’t…[Read more]

  • Technically, we recruited him. We had just given our scholarship to Jack Fucking Tuttle, who is still eligible to play for Michigan. We offered Zach a walkon spot but he took the scholarship, and seeing how his career turned out, he made the right decision.

  • Utah replied to the topic Let’s Go Red Rocks!!! in the forum Other Ute Sports 6 months ago

First place, first two vaulters fall over.

    Game over.

  • What this means for BYU? He will continue to do these types of deals and BYU will benefit greatly.

He pays $30 million to BYU. BYU legislatures give him hundreds of millions for his sports teams.

Taxpayers…well they get to pay for it all.

  • I’ve seen the Jazz financials. They are doing really, really, really well in so many ways. It’s shocking.

They have some difference ways to get money from corporations and it was worked amazingly well…like their revenue in some key areas is top 3 in the NBA.

Like him or hate him, he’s making a shit ton of money right now and having an arena w…[Read more]
