Ha ha. I love this. Us poors just need to be better.

  • Utah replied to the topic Lincoln Riley's LA Home in the forum Football 11 months, 2 weeks ago

17 million…Crazy. He’s supposed to make between 88-110 million dollars. If he makes 88, he spent 19% of his income on his home.

If he makes the full 110, he spent 15% of his income on that home.

What a picture of responsibility and frugalness. Here I spend almost 40% of my income on my home. I should be more like him.

  • 1 – Utah basketball sucks. It’s not fun to watch. Well…actually, that is probably reasons 1-5. Most casual fans, like myself, tune in to one or two games early every year…and whether you like it or not, usually it’s the BYU game. And when we lose…eh. I have better things to do with my time.

    2 – The PAC-12 sucks. Why should I watch a bad…[Read more]

I love how Riley goes down 0-1 then starts dropping the spin balls and quickly finishes the game. lol.

But, yeah, that is a beautiful house.

Man, now I really hope he goes to USC. He could make some connections with some coaches from Riley’s tree, really expose him to some new ideas. He’s a great coach and a great mind, let’s expand that thing as much as we can before his shortcomings cost us games (not saying they will, but the more you know the better).

  • I look back at my title and was too harsh. I’m not taking accountability away from Whitt…or at least that wasn’t my intent.

He needs to either recruit better WR’s or develop them better.

My point was just this: If you are a talented pass catcher, Whitt will get you the ball. Who were Whitt’s best WR’s?

Tim Patrick, Carrington, Brown, Reid,…[Read more]

What’s so stupid about all this is that there is an easy fix:

Let the QB’s have dots in their helmets and let the OC talk to the QB. Hell, it would help Utah out a lot, especially with Barnes. You can have Barnes line up, have Ludwig do the presnap read for him, tell him “Hey Vele has single coverage, he should be your first read” so Barnes…[Read more]

Honestly…we know it’s going to be Scalley 99% or Jay Hill 1%. Knowing this, I’d 100% be ok with Scalley going to USC. I think it would do him a lot of good to see how a completely different type of coach coaches. To see how to battle with an offensive mind and how to navigate a game plan that might put your defense in a bad position.

    Then we…[Read more]

  • I called it and they totally fixed my quickbuks for me. Even though I don’t have quickbuks…

But anyways, I’m super grateful because they said there was some security risk and bots were coming for me and they were so nice…they didn’t even want my credit card number like those scams want…I just sent them some gift cards…And they liked the…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Whitt's presser in the forum Football 11 months, 2 weeks ago

I think you have to study the crap out of the ASU game and find out how they got 4 TO’s. That is the key.

Also, if Jackson can’t go…we will get blown out.

Finally, we have hope. Remember, only three things can happen when you pass the ball and two of those things are bad for the offense. Pass heavy teams, while they have their advantages,…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Whitt's presser in the forum Football 11 months, 2 weeks ago

I think the answer is…maybe. Johnson is playing Nickelback, which is basically a LB/S/CB hybrid. Johnson is 6-1, 200 lbs. He is the dream size for outside CB. I’d bet money that is where they want him to be.

BUT if Bishop leaves (he shouldn’t) or if Vaki moves to the offense (he shouldn’t), then they can play Johnson at Safety.

    Ideally, we’d…[Read more]

  • This. If Jackson is healthy, we can beat any P12 team not named Oregon.

If Jackson is out…we need to hope that something has clicked with Barnes and he’s suddenly a lot better.

  • Oh man. They started 5-1 and now they are losing? Looks like their November collapse is happening.

I love this. This is what they wanted. Cincinnati and UCF and Houston as well. Well, they are getting it. And they are so far behind everyone else. It will take a miracle for those four teams to not end up the perennial doormats.

    Lol. And I love…[Read more]

You’re not wrong, but it’s not that simple. Oregon is good.

If you stack the box, they can throw over the top of you. If you drop 2 safeties, they can run up the middle. If you clog the middle, they can run/throw it outside.

And we haven’t even mentioned Nix running the ball.

Oregon is damn good. And to beat a damn good team, your offen…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Whitt's presser in the forum Football 11 months, 3 weeks ago

Because if Johnson looks good, then we all want Johnson and Whitt doesn’t want Johnson.

  • He might be able to make more money in one year…but nothing will make him look better than Utah. There might be opportunities for him to look as good as he could look in Utah and he may be able to put up better stats, but he won’t look better. Especially if Kuithe comes back.

  • Utah replied to the topic Whitt's presser in the forum Football 11 months, 3 weeks ago

There is a reason why we didn’t see Johnson: Whitt doesn’t like how often Johnson turns the ball over. Barnes turns the ball over less. Barnes beat USC. Whitt knows Johnson can win you a game, but is more likely to lose you the game.

Barnes is safe. Whitt knows 9 wins is still on the table and if you can get the run game going, you can beat…[Read more]

  • I don’t know why he’d transfer. He is the man at Utah. It’s his job. He knows the offense inside and out. Hopefully he will have Kuithe back and most likely Jackson. His OL will all be back. The defense is elite.

There really isn’t a better situation in the country for him. Ludwig’s last QB, Huntley, is in the NFL, beloved by all, and was named…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Bowl game in the forum Football 11 months, 3 weeks ago

Nah. We’d destroy them. It would suck as a bowl game because of that. They would struggle to get a TD and we’d run all over them.
