  • Utah replied to the topic What do we know about OSU? in the forum Football 1 month ago

Only 9 teams have a worse defense than OSU. They can’t stop the run. They can’t stop the pass. They can’t run the ball.

Utah State has a better defense than OSU and Utah State has been torn apart by USC.

    We should score 40.

On the other hand, our defense is ranked #20. Their scoring offense is #18.

Can they score 40 on us?

    Our scori…[Read more]

    I’m not respecting our opponent.

But if anyone thinks Whitt and his team aren’t…I dunno. They 100% are. Utah has a shot to take down the crowned champ of the Big 12. Make a huge statement.

  • Utah replied to the topic I'm just gonna say it… in the forum Football 1 month ago

Yeah, this conference sucks. The games suck. This should be our USC weekend. Instead, we get OSU.

And we have to pretend that a team that can’t stop the run, pass or run the ball themselves is somehow equivalent to USC.

Hell, Utah State played us and USC and has a better defense than Oklahoma State. But yeah, this is soooo much better becuase…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Notes from Whitt's presser in the forum Football 1 month ago

It literally doesn’t matter. Utah State has a better statistical defense than Oklahoma State and Utah State has played against us and USC.

Oklahoma State has played a FCS team, Arkansas and a terrible Tulsa team.

If Wilson has to play this weekend, he will be facing a worse defense than he faced last weekend and he did just fine.

    Utah State…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Defense in the forum Football 1 month ago

They will try. They are averaging 3.4 yards per carry so I don’t think they will be successful. We are by far the best defense they have faced this year. It’s not logical to think their yards per carry will double vs us.

  • Utah replied to the topic Ok State is -3 as of this morning in the forum Football 1 month ago

I mean…if you look at the numbers, that’s OSU’s only shot.

Again, that doesn’t bode well for OSU.

  • Utah replied to the topic Ok State is -3 as of this morning in the forum Football 1 month ago

I don’t get how close this game is predicted to be. Oklahoma State can’t stop the pass, they can’t stop the run and they can’t run the ball.

They are literally trying to throw for 400 yards and out score you.

If you took the names off OSU and just looked at their production, we’d be looking at a 3 score win.

Teams like that don’t fare well v…[Read more]

  • He did this when he was DC. It was awesome. He’d tell you what would happen in every WAC game and then on Saturdays it would happen.

  • If Cam starts, we win this game by 2 scores.

If Wilson starts, we most definitely can win but it would be a dogfight.

But it’s all irrelevant because Cam is starting.

  • Utah fans that are “realistic” are the worst. Jesus, a miserable bunch. But I guess I am just too optimistic. lol.

Look, Wilson was a QB at Corner Canyon. Zach was a top 2 pick in the NFL. Devin Brown started for Ohio State. Dart may be the #1 draft pick next spring. Hell, their worst QB Hagen plays for Yale.

If you are a QB at Corner Canyon,…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic Poaching Jay Hill in the forum Football 1 month ago

Honestly…I’d love it. Jay Hill and Swan as DC and Shah as CB coach? Holy moly, yes please.

  • Utah replied to the topic Possible future Utah OC? in the forum Football 1 month ago

Scalley wants to go back to the Urban Spread.

So I wouldn’t be shocked if he hires a coach from Urban’s coaching tree.

  • Utah replied to the topic Tulsa in the forum Football 1 month ago

No! We are Utah fans and we think we will be terrible even though we’ve left the P12 on par with Oregon, USC, UW, etc.

    We suuuuuuccccckkkkkkkk!!!!!

It’s so much more fun being negative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Utah replied to the topic Poaching Jay Hill in the forum Football 1 month ago

Maybe. He’d be co-DC with Shah, because Shah will be our DC when Whitt retires.

    Here’s what I think happens:

Shah and Sean are Co-DC’s. Jay Hill is Utah State’s HC and turns them into the next Boise St. Or Hill goes and is a HC somewhere like SDSU or Fresno St or something.

  • Utah replied to the topic Pregame thoughts in the forum Football 1 month ago

I am optimistic because Bryson Barnes is starting.

We get one, if not two pick sixes.

I think we get 3+ turnovers.

    Thats why I’m so optimistic.

  • Utah started the topic Pregame thoughts in the forum Football 1 month ago

Oklahoma State and Kansas St and UCF and TCU are tough. If we have Cam, we are just better. I’m not worried about them at all.

Ok, maybe TCU. I’ll know better after they play UCF today.

QB – we will be happy with our QB today. It’s hard to take the next step. Even Alex Smith sucked his freshman year. Wilson will please and excite people today…[Read more]

  • Utah replied to the topic 2023 vs 2024 in the forum Pac-12 1 month ago

    It’s the MWC…only shitty locations!!!

  • I mean, he has another year of eligibility. He’d be dumb to not apply for it. He doesn’t have to use it, but he should apply for it.

This is no brainer stuff. I know those morons don’t understand basic things you do to cover your bases but…

Should Cam apply for his last year? Absolutely. Will he use it? Who knows.

  • Utah replied to the topic Vegas spread has dropped 4 points in the forum Football 1 month ago

    Alright bro.

  • Utah replied to the topic Vegas spread has dropped 4 points in the forum Football 1 month ago

lol. You can’t tell the difference between a freshman in his first game ever, put into a tough situation vs a freshman who has made mistakes, had a couple games to learn and is still making the same mistakes?

Who is the non-serious one here?

And your last paragraph…lol. You give Utah State too much credit.
