Speaking as an attorney, it’s not that hard. I looked at some of these allegations. And, facially, her business seemed entirely legitimate. But when you looked under the hood it really wasn’t. So unless Shah was complicit in the scheme (and if he hasn’t been arrested yet he probably wasn’t) Shah probably knew nothing about it.

I was in the South Endzone for that game. Bitter cold. Right next to BYU fans. But I remember watching it at halftime and thinking, we are still gonna win this if we don’t let them get up by another score. We didn’t (though they did score it was a net neutral because of the Blackmon INT). Good game.

I don’t know him. But based on this he seems like a good dude. I am sad for him as a person. But sometimes you get stuck in a moment that you can’t get out of without a boost. That’s where Larry and utah were. It could be mutually beneficial to both.

Because that card is already played and whether we agree with it or not Utah the state and the university have perception problems that need to be addressed.

Yes. Good for guy. That doesn’t stop Utah football from needing to release a concurrent statement.

My dude, getting out in front of stories is PR 101. Utah needs to get out in front of this and say at least something like there was a mutual decision to part ways or something. Letting this be the sole narrative out there is dangerous.

What our opinions are or may be on the matter is entirely irrelevant to what people will perceive this to be. Utah already has a perception problem by virtue of its location and national perception. That is only further exacerbated by the events of this summer and now.

Optics on this one is poor what with the Scalley crap and in this day and age this is what it will devolve to. Let’s see what happens.
