Kiel McDonald going to USC is not that big of a loss. Dude is trying to better his career, good for him. Recruiting RB has never been a problem for Utah. More concerning will be if KW does not fill the position in the next couple months.

Agree, 2008 was an amazing season. 2004 was my favorite season mainly because it was Utah’s first breakout season. This is really the first breakthrough year for Utah on the national level. 2019 some regard as one of Utah’s best years was a local success, but somewhat of failure from a national perspective the way Oregon and Texas blew them out.

Guessing we’ll see more of the TEs split out as well. The Morris kid after Utah’s boot camp adding weight and learning the Utah way with his size and agility is going to be a dangerous hybrid WR/TE. KW has established the sixth sense finding these hungry, committed, hard working kids all in to the process.

Yup, and Herbstreit will be pushing the same narrative if the Utes take care of business. tOSU and their fan base honestly believe they can just show up and beat the lesser Utah program in their minds and win big.

No question, OSU is the real deal. Question is, will OSU be motivated to play to their potential a month after falling short of the NC goal? OSU needs to bring their “A” game as well to beat Utah. Next couple weeks will be interesting to see if any of the OSU players opt out of the game. Go Utes!
