While I never like to agree with Gunther, I think he has a point. In the limited reps I saw all the QBs it did seem to be 1. Huntley 2a Shelley 2b Tuttle. I think Tuttle was only 2b for redshirt reasons.

That being said I believe their is more to this whole story other than Tuttle is p**sed he wasn’t the first backup.

I think it would need to take a few years of QBs performing well to change the opinions of Utah fans. I think the overall feel is he is great recruiter but fell short as an QC and QB coach. I try and give A-Rod slack because of things he had to deal with off the field during his time at Utah and I think that is one reason why Whitt gave him a lot of opportunities IMO.

Saw him at practice today. He said he is has recevied treament and he looked fine in the limited number of drills I saw.

Great point about guys on the Oline really stepping up. We didn’t know each other were going to be picking WRs, that was a bit of a surprise. I think one reason is this WR group has a caught a lot of eyes this offseason. No disrespect to the other positions, but people are expected big things from the WRs so I think that is why the 3 of us went WR across the board.
